Abstract

This research made a result as like down below by investigating areal concrete way of using beauty machines in beauty salons to prepare a countermeasure for the increasing social demands of men's beauty salons. 1. A result of the research about a role of the male beauty artists We asked a question to 227 male college students who live in Seoul and Kyungi area. The research investigated a relation of a beauty artists and the measuring student's body defects when they want to take a beauty service. 227 students mostly think their stomach has the most beauty defects, and to make it better, they said that exercising is the bets way, and followed by a control of a diet, and the others. female said a control of a diet is the best. And the 25percents of respondents asked they would be interested in visiting beauty salons and go through the beauty course. The others said the reason of not visiting beauty salon is expensive cost, shame to exposure their body to female beauty artists, and lastly absence of male beauty artists. As you see the result above, if the rate of male beauty artists increases, as not like the circumstance now that the number of female beauty artists is obviously numerous than male beauty artists, respondents said that they might feel more good about visiting a beauty salon. Respondents also said that male beauty artists would be better than female beauty artists. 2. Satisfaction of beauty machines and the services by beauty artists The respondents who participated to their stomach fat course said that when they took a service by female beauty artists, 53.6%of them said 'It's Ok' and 28.6% said 'good'. When they took a service by male beauty artists, 57.1% of them said 'OK' and 25.0% of them said 'good'. The result show us that male artists recepted as female beauty artists without any prejudice. By the result above, male college students have few experience because of beauty salons images like expensive place for women. The beauty market will be expanded if the beauty salons become cheaper and comfortable for male. Especially, to removing an image as like a place for female, they should employ more male beauty artists. So This research suggest that the increase of the male beauty artists would bring a beauty market a new development.
