Abstract

The purpose of this study was to suggest the objective ground relevant to the condition & care reality, the recognition, and the service use on scalp·hair according to general characteristics targeting 105 people in their 20s, 110 people in the 30s, and 188 in the 40s among 403 women in their 20s∼40s. Questionnaire survey was carried out from February 10, 2010 to March 15. The following results were obtained. First, as a result of analyzing the scalp condition and the care reality, which are perceived by research subjects, a type of scalp was high in recognition of normal scalp. The hair condition was large in a condition of perm and dyeing. The condition of own hair health was indicated to be the largest in moderate. Second, in the reality of scalp·hair care, a reason for perm, dyeing, and bleaching was large in the response as saying of the aim at simplicity and durability in hair style. Side effect caused by this was indicated to be large in women without experience. Third, in the scalp·hair care, the frequency of using beauty salon was the largest in respondents as saying of being 3∼4 months. Performance, which is thought to have influence upon damage in scalp and hair, was indicated to be the highest in dyeing and bleaching. Also, treatment after perm, dyeing and bleaching was indicated to be done sometimes. Fourth, as for shampoo of being used according to research subjects' condition of scalp·hair care, the use of functional shampoo agent was large. As for a method of drying hair after having a shampoo, the dry of using warm air was indicated to be high. Thus, many women were indicated to fail to greatly recognize the hair damage according to a drying method after having a shampoo. Fifth, as a result of analyzing recognition on scalp·hair damage, the performance that is thought to have influence upon damage was the largest in respondents of recognizing it as dyeing and bleaching. Compared to producing beautiful hair style, the maintenance in hair health was indicated to be recognized to be more important. The use of the exclusive cosmetics for protecting scalp and hair was indicated to be much. Sixthly, as a result of analyzing the service use of scalp & hair-loss care, people of having experience had many cases of having ever received care at beauty salon, according to the appearance of experience on scalp·hair-loss care. An opportunity of having come to receive scalp·hair-loss care was indicated to receive care for health in scalp·hair. Among research subjects who have experience of having ever received scalp·hair-loss care, the most satisfactory care service was surveyed to be the care effect. The unsatisfactory reason was indicated to be the cost of care. The influence that hair loss has upon social life was indicated to be the highest in the loss of self-confidence in appearance. Thus, self-confidence could be known to be much shrunken due to hair loss. In case of survey subjects who are receiving scalp·hair-loss care now, the number of respondents as saying of desiring to continue to receive care as far as there is effect was shown to be the highest, to the question about the appearance of future continuance. Thus, it could be seen to be positive result that many women's interest in scalp·hair-loss care gets higher.
