Abstract

This study was attempted, In the current era, where the increase rate of eyelash extensions in the field of beauty is clear, three different hypotheses were established to see if women's eyelash extensions differ according to demographic characteristics and whether eyelash extensions affect women's self-esteem and psychological satisfaction. In this study, 164 women in their teens and fifties were surveyed to find out whether eyelash extension affects demographic characteristics, self-esteem and psychological satisfaction among women. It was developed to measure the characteristics, the condition of eyelash extension, the behavior of eyelash extension, self-esteem, and psychological satisfaction). The collected data is analyzed by the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 25.0 program. SPSS WIN 25.0 프로그램(Statistical Package for the Social Science)으로 수집한 자료를 분석하였고 분석 기법으로는 연구 대상자의 일반적 특성을 파악하기 위해 백분율과 빈도를 구하며, 여성들의 속눈썹 연장술과 자아존중감 및 심리적 만족감을 살펴보기 위해 빈도분석과, One-way ANOVA(일원변량분석), Correlation(상관관계분석) 그리고 t-test(검증)를 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과는 속눈썹 연장술이란 편리함과 아름다움을 추구하는 것뿐만이 아니라 속눈썹 연장술 행동에 적극적 일수록 심리적 만족감의 활동적 만족과 대인관계 만족, 삶에 대한 기대가 높아지며 긍정적으로 자신과 주변을 수용하는 태도와 안정적인 모습을 나타낸다고 사료되었다. 따라서 속눈썹 연장술이 여성들의 자아존중감 및 심리적 만족감에 영향력을 준다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
