바운딩기법을 활용한 업스타일 디자인 연구
- Abstract
- Straight hair style has been big trend in Korea with the keywords well-being and back-to-nature since 1990's. And it will be continued. Because of the straight hair trends, Updo style also should follow those trends for represent of straight feature. But nowadays hair salon only offers curled updo style with habitual use of electronic hair setting tools and no straight hair's merit. For represent of straight up do technique's necessity, I took photos randomly on the main street of Kang-nam in Seoul and Shibuya in Tokyo and analyze objectively the numbers of hair styles. The result of the analysis shows that women of today prefer straight hair to strongly curled hair style. Also I checked the numbers of straight or curled updo through analysis of famous web sites and beauty magazines. Given the outcome from this, they offer curled updo style costumer mostly to the exclusion of recent straight trend.
Making Smooth hair surface in updo style represents designer's experience and skill as a specialist. Straight hair has good condition to make smooth surface and various applications. This study shows newly developed bounding technique for straight hair updo style. This technique enhances to expand updo hair style field with curled updo hair style. I exhibit various hair works with bounding technique on this thesis.
The strong points of bounding technique are as follows.
- Bounding technique makes completion of updo hair style in 10 minutes without use of electronic hair setting tools.
- Bounding technique features straight hair texture remark ably.
- Steady popularity of turban shell style, roll style and po mpadour style have assured that surface-emphasis style is able to satisfy consumer.
- Bounding technique offers elegant hair style overcome bad conditions such as shortness and thinness,
Specialists should constantly try to expand their technique for satisfaction of costumer. Effort and affection must help them to create something new and fresh. Familiar style was seemed a strange thing since it had been created though it is not any more. I hope that you have positive point of view and give further research.
