미용성형과 피부미용의 효용성 및 인식도 비교분석을 통한 피부미용의 발전방향 연구

Abstract

미용성형과 피부미용의 발전은 현대인들에게 외모를 바꿀 수 있다는 일종의 기회를 제공해주었고, 실제로 현대인들은 자신감 향상 및 사회적 성공을 위한 하나의 선택으로서 다양한 종류의 미용성형과 피부미용을 받고 있다. 그러나 미용성형에 있어서 관련 내용에 대한 중요 정보나 부작용 사례에 대한 인식이 부족하여 이로 인한 신체적 부작용 및 물질적 과소비가 발생하고 있다. 또한 피부미용에 있어서 그 종류와 효과에 대한 긍정적 평가가 다소 미비하고, 사용자의 다양한 경제적 상황을 고려하지 못한 비용 책정으로 피부 미용분야에 대한 왕성한 발달을 가져오지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기위해 미용성형과 피부미용의 장단점 및 주요 정보를 소개하고, 설문지를 통하여 미용성형과 피부미용의 인식도 및 개인별 성향을 파악하여 피부미용이 앞으로 나아가야할 방향을 알아보고자 경북지역에 거주하는 총 500명의 남성 및 여성들을 대상으로 2011년 3월 1일부터 31일까지 1달에 걸쳐 설문조사를 수행했으며, 수집된 자료의 통계처리는 데이터 코딩(data coding)과 데이터 클리닝(data cleaning) 과정을 거쳐, 통계 패키지 프로그램인 PASW Statistical Data Editor (SPSS v. 18.0)를 활용하여 분석하였다. 미용성형과 피부미용에 대해 긍정적 또는 보통의 선호도를 보인 조사대상자는 각각 70%이상, 90%이상으로 나타났다. 미용성형에 대한 상대적인 긍정적 이유는 확실한 효과를 얻을 수 있기 때문에 41.6%(74명)를, 피부미용에 대한 상대적인 긍정적 이유는 미용성형의 부작용에 대한 우려 44.0%(91명)가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 미용성형 시술과 피부미용 관리 시 가장 우려되는 사항은 각각 부작용 66.4%(305명)과 관리 후 낮은 기대효과 34.2%(157명)로 나타났다. 부위별 시술의향 조사에서, 얼굴과 관련해서는 레이저 시술 25.4%(231명)과 피부 관리 20.4%(185명)가 높은 시술 의향을 나타내었고 안면윤곽 수술 8.8%(20.5명)에 대한 의향이 가장 낮았다. 바디(팔, 가슴, 복부, 다리)와 관련해서는 슬리밍, 가슴탄력, 비만관리, 혈액순환, 독소배출, 장 기능 개선을 위한 마사지가 가장 높은 시술 의향을 보였고, 가슴/확대 축소 수술 18.4%(76명) 및 지방 흡입과 관련된 시술들은 낮은 비중을 차지하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 우리는 미용성형과 피부미용에 대한 인식이 긍정적이라는 것을 알 수 있었으며 두 분야 모두 자신의 만족감을 상승시키고, 아름다움을 가꾸기 위한 수단으로 인식하고 있었지만 부작용에 대한 우려와 시술·관리 후 효과에 대한 낮은 기대치가 부정적 요인으로 나타났다. 또한 레이저 시술과 같은 간편하고 효과적이며 시술 흔적이 비교적 남지 않는 시술은 많은 사람들이 선호한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 하지만 몸에 비교적 큰 시술 흔적은 남기거나 부작용이 우려되는 본격적인 미용성형 차원에서의 시술들은 낮은 선호도를 가졌으며, 오히려 꾸준한 관리를 통해 다양한 효과를 볼 수 있는 피부 관리나 마사지와 같은 보다 안전하고 부작용이 덜한 피부미용 차원에서의 시술들을 선호한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러므로 우리는 소비자의 다양한 상황을 고려한 맞춤형 피부미용 서비스를 개발하고, 다양한 관리 시연회를 개최하여 피부미용의 긍정적 인식도를 확고히 해야 한다. 피부미용 시술 후 마사지의 효용성(외모 개선, 건강관리, 깨끗한 이미지, 젊음유지)을 적극적으로 홍보하고, 다양한 마사지 관리 분야들을 적극적으로 육성해야 한다. 지방흡입과 같은 부작용이 우려되는 시술을 대체하기 위해 피부미용의 비만관리 분야의 강점(혈액순환, 안전성, 신체 신진대사증진, 신경이완, 스트레스완화 등)을 부각시키고 확실한 효과를 경험 할 수 있도록 다양한 임상관리와 연구를 수행해야 한다.| The development of cosmetic plastic surgery and skin care provides modern people with an opportunity to change their appearance, and they receive various cosmetic plastic surgeries and skin cares for confidence improvement and success in society. However, they have insufficient information about cosmetic plastic surgery and low recognition of side effects, resulting in physical side effects and excessive spending. In addition, kinds and effects of skin cares are hardly regarded positive and the prices are set without considering users' financial situations, which hinders active development in skin care fields. To solve the problem, this study aimed to look into future directions for skin care by introducing advantages and disadvantages of cosmetic plastic surgery and skin care and major information and examining recognition of cosmetic plastic surgery and skin care and individual tendency through a survey. This study conducted a preliminary survey of total 500 men and women in Gyeongbuk for 14 days from February 15 to 28, 2011 and by supplementing and reviewing the results, conducted the actual survey from March 1 to 31, 2011. The collected data were analyzed throughout data coding and data cleaning by using PASW Statistical Data Editor (SPSS v. 18.0). Survey subjects who showed positive or average preference for skin care were more than 70% and 90% respectively. The relatively positive reason of plastic surgery is that the respondents could get certain effects(41.6%, 74 subjects). The relatively positive reason of skin care is that they were worried about side effects(44.0%, 91). What they were most worried about is side effects (66.4%, 305) and low expectation effects(34.2%, 157). A survey on intention to receive a surgery according to body parts showed high intention in laser surgery for face(25.4%, 231) and skin care(20.4%, 185) but low facial contouring surgery(8.8%, 20.5). With respect to body(arms, breast, belly, legs), slimming, elastic breast, obesity care, blood circulation, detox, and improvement in intestinal functions showed high intention while breast enlargement and reduction operations showed low percentage(18.4%, 76).s Through the findings, we found out that recognition of cosmetic plastic surgery and skin care is positive and both fields are regarded as a way to improve confidence and appearance. Worries about side effects and low expectation about effects of surgery and skin care are negative factors. Also, people prefer simple and efficient surgeries with a rare scar such as laser surgery. However, they have low preference for surgeries leaving a relatively big scar and side effects, and they rather prefer safe surgeries with less side effects such as skin care and massage that give consumers various effects through constant care. Therefore, we have to develop customized skin care services by considering consumers' different situations and opening a demonstration about skin care to secure consumers' positive recognition of skin care. In addition, it needs to promote usefulness of massage after skin care and cosmetic plastic surgery(appearance improvement, health care, clean image, keeping of youth) and cultivate diverse massage care fields. To replace side effects including that of lipo suction, various clinical care and studies should be carried out to highlight advantages(blood circulation, safety, metabolism increase, nerve relaxation, stress reduction, etc) of obesity care of skin care and provide certain effects.
