龍山 電子商街의 效率的인 運營 및 管理方案에 관한 硏究

Abstract

The Yongsan Electronic Arcade Complex established in 1987 has been developed greatly and considered as the largest distribution complex in electronic and computer industries in Korea and even in the world. But recently the Yongsan Electronic Arcade Complex is losing its reputation because of 'rapid change of city environment', that is, a couple of other huge electronic complex, such as TechnoMart, Kukje Electronic Information Center and Chungang Electronic Distribution Center, have been newly built up and competing against the Yongsan Electronic Arcade Complex in the electronic distribution market. In addition,'the change of distribution environment', such as Home Shopping Business through the Internet and Cable TV environment, has been another competitor as well. Therefore, both the management companies(owners) and the merchants(tenants) in the Yongsan Electronic Arcade should prepare proper counterplans and drive strongly with those plans in order to revive the Youngsan Electronic Arcade Complex. These revival plans are examined from the viewpoint of merchants, management companies and local government community. 1. From merchant's point of view First, merchants should fully utilize advantage current of geographical conditions. Second, merchants should try to create reliable electronic arcade atmosphere. Third, merchants should deal with competitive specialized products. 2. From management company's point of view First, management companies should feel responsible for principal operations of their electronic arcade. Second, management companies should try to maintain cooperative relationship with their merchants. Third, management companies should be in charge of 'various regular events including seminars' for business prosperity of their electronic arcade. Fourth, management companies should present a blueprint for the future redevelopment program and set up middle and long term development plans of their electronic arcade. 3. From local government community's point of view The local self-governing community should actively support in every respect for' about 4,000 registered business enterprises of the Yongsan Electronic Arcade Complex' to be prospered in business, which are not only the largest source of tax collection but also one of solutions to unemployment problems. With trust and cooperation of merchants, management companies and local government, the Yongsan Electronic Arcade Complex could be flourished again as one of the core metropolitan area.
