Abstract
A person's can be seen as unique in itself make-up may be used in order to enhance this 'uniqueness' in various ways. In this dissertation, there will be numemus descriptions and explanations considering the different color schemes used in the four seasons. In the spring and summer bright and refreshing schemes such as vivid tones, soft pale tones may be used. In contrast, gary to dark tones, pale tones, natural tones are used in the fall and winter. Though there is a vast amount or tones available to the public it seems as though color that are the most eye-catching and 'in style' receive the highest popularity among consumers.
MAC and Bobbi Brown make-up lines were chosen due to their 'enhance individuality' method in promoting their products. Considering their late arrival into korea's cometic market (on November 1999) MAC and Bobbi Brown have mark in korea's beauty culture. For research purposes, factors such as trend, seasonal color analyses, and Make-up image are used. First cosmetic corporations work toward making their products simple giving off a more natural look. They use this technique in order to shape 'Simple-look Beauty' the beauty culture. Second, the point of make-up is to enhance beauty and in order to do so, one specific point must be the focus. Therefore, it is important to find 'Right' color shape once the shape is found next important factor to consider is the application of the product. For example, the correct method in application of foundation is to use a sponge rather than one's fingers. In doing so, the foundation will sit smoothly on the face.
