동판화를 활용한 Art Fabric 의상디자인 연구

Abstract

복식은 사람들의 개성을 표현하게 하며 창조적인 욕구를 충족시킴과 동시에 착용자나 보는 사람 모두에게 예술적인 감동을 불러일으키는 인간의 미의식이 반영되는 이상적인 표현 매체이다. 현대 사회에서의 복식은 대량생산으로 인해 점점 획일화되어 가고 있어 차별화된 소재와 그에 따른 창조적인 디자인의 복식이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라 현대 패션 디자이너들은 기능적인 측면만이 아닌 조형적 측면을 강조하여 창조의 자율성을 넓혀가고 있다. 따라서 복식 디자인에 있어서 다양한 소재를 만들기 위한 새로운 표현 기법에 의하여 제작된 아트 패브릭을 복식의 소재로 활용하여 디자인을 보다 효과적으로 제시하고 감각적인 가치를 충족시킬 수 있도록 "소재 개발" 의 중요성이 강조되고 있으며 새로운 복식 예술을 창출해 나가고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 선행 연구에서 보여주는 아트 패브릭의 표현 기법들을 기반으로 탈색 기법과 동판화 기법을 의상에 접목시켜 아트 패브릭 효과를 극대화하는 방안과 앞으로 창작 디자인 발상에 기여하고저 함에 의의를 둔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 아트 패브릭을 제작하기 위해 일차적으로 탈색 방법을 시도하였다. 탈색 과정은 분사 기법, 스폰지 기법, 소금 기법, 테이프 기법 등 4가지 기법을 이용하여 아트 괘브릭을 만든 다음, 이차적으로 판화 기법 중에서 동판화 기법 인 깊은 에칭, 아쿼틴트, 리프트 그라운드 에칭, 라인 에칭 등 4가지 기법을 활용하여 아트 패브릭을 복식 소재로 한 의상 디자인 제작에 깊이를 더 하였다. 아트 패브릭 제작에는 데님(denim)을 사용하였다. 사용된 아트 패브릭은 디자인에 따라 자켓의 칼라, 포켓, 바디스, 스커트 등에 활용하였으며 판화의 색상은 데님의 염색 정도에 따라 조화를 이룰 수 있도록 하였다. 먼저 머슬린으로 디자인 된 의상을 가바느질하여 피팅을 한 후 동판화를 활용할 부분을 표시하였다. 표시 후 옷감의 바탕 천에 탈색 과정을 걸쳐 동판화를 활용한 부분에 실표뜨기를 하였다. 이 표시된 부분 에 동판화를 찍어 그 부분을 다시 패턴으로 옮겼다. 옮긴 후 데님을 마름질 하였다. 동판화를 찍어야 할 부분의 탈색 색상은 전체적으로 탈색된 색상과 조화를 이루도록 하였으며 탈색된 데님에 판화용 잉크와 유화물감을 혼합하여 동판화를 찍어 아트 패브릭을 제작하였다. 완성된 원피스와 자켓, 스커트에 장식적인 종이끈과 비즈 등을 붙이고 스티치 하여 원피스 3점과 투피스 5점 등 총 8 작품을 실물 제작하였다.|Costumes serve as expressing media to satisfy the needs of human creativity, to express their individuality, to inspire the wearers and viewers as well with artistic impressions and to reflect human aesthetics. Modern costumes are being churned out and getting more and more uniformed, requiring differentiated materials and costumes based on creative design. In this context modern designers are expanding the self-regulation of creativity by putting not only emphasis on the molding aspects of the costumes but also their functional aspects. It is important that materials should be developed with brand the importance of the material development is emphasized to satisfy sensible value in design. Fashion designers make the new costume art to utilize art fabric using new ways of dyeing or expressing technique. This study is designed to make use of art fabrics based on engraving, dry-pointing, etching, aquatint of the copper plate print technique. Art fabrics are highlighted by denim. Denim was manufactured in a variety of forms after going through the process of decoloration and dyeing and then applying a copper plate print to cloths. The art fabrics were used as parts including the collars of the jackets, the pockets, the bodices and the skirt according to design and the colors of the plate were made to be in harmony with the degree of the dyeing. The costumes designed by muslin were well stitched and fitted and marked at places where the copper plate print would be used. The copper plate print was used to marked places and moved to the patterns. Then denim was cut out. Decoloration and dye were applied to the printed parts in order to be in harmony for the manufacture of art fabrics.. Jewels were attached to the finished one-piece, jacket and skirts. The researcher came up with three one-pieces and five two-pieces.
