TV 뉴스 진행자의 메이크업 특성에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 TV 메이크업에 대한 이론적 고찰을 하고, 국내 방송사 즉, 1992년에서 2002년까지의 KBS와 SBS의 뉴스진행자의 메이크업 특징 분석 및 여성 앵커들을 대상으로 한 설문분석을 통해서 기존의 고정된 앵커의 이미지를 탈피하고, 각 개인별 특성을 살릴 수 있는 메이크업 컨셉과 디자인을 제시하고자 하였다. 즉, 여성 뉴스 진행자의 메이크업에 대한 기본적 이론을 정립하고, 보다 이상적인 뉴스 여성 진행자의 이미지연출을 위하여 차별화된 메이크업을 체계화하여 실무자들에게 체계화된 방송 메이크업의 연출과정을 제시하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서 제시한 뉴스메이크업의 특징은 메이크업의 간결성과 뉴스진행자의 개성미를 중시한 차별성, 현 사회의 일원으로서 유행의 적절한 수용을 의미하는 대중성으로 요약할 수 있으며 이러한 특징을 고려하여 작품으로 제시하였는데, KBS의 경우 지적인 이미지에 신뢰감있는 메이크업에 비중을 두었으며, SBS의 경우 유행의 적절한 수용을 의미하는 대중성을 가미하여 뷰티메이크업으로 표현해 보고자 하였으며 채널간의 차별화를 시도하여 보았다. 따라서 여성 앵커의 메이크업시 몇 가지 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성앵커는 기자로서의 자질을 갖추고 언론인으로서 차별화된 여성 앵커의 이미지를 갖추고 있으므로 지적인 이미지와 신뢰감있는 메이크업에 비중을 두어야 한다. 둘째, TV의 기술적 발전과 더불어 TV메이크업은 시청자들에게 더욱 사실적으로 표현되고 때로는 민감하게 반응하게 되므로 색상 및 형태가 신중하게 표현되어야 한다. 셋째, 역할의 신뢰감을 좌우하는 것이 메이크업시 자연스러움이다. 넷째, 아이섀도우 색조는 최대한 자연스런 오렌지와 갈색 계열의 제품을 쓰고, 립스틱의 색상은 상의 색상과 색상계열을 맞춰야 세련되고 차분해 보인다. 본 논문을 진행하면서 드라마, 쇼 등의 다른 프로그램에 비해 이미지 변화가 적은 뉴스메이크업의 특징을 고려하여 방송의 이미지와 아이템을 구체적으로 분류한 기획작업의 필요성을 느꼈으며, 현대인에게 어떠한 매체보다 커다란 영향력을 미치는 TV 메이크업에 대한 연구는 앞으로도 지속적으로 다루어져야 할 분야라고 판단된다.|The purpose of this study is to review TV makeup theoretically and thereupon, analyze the makeup characteristics of the anchor women who worked for KBS and SBS from 1992 to 2002 based on a questionnaire survey, and thereby, suggest some makeup concepts and designs whereby uniform and fixed anchor women image can be replaced with individualistic and unique ones. For this purpose, basic theories about anchor women’s makeup were established, and their makeups were differentiated for their unique images, and therewith, a systematic broadcasting makeup method was suggested for anchor women. The news makeup suggested by this study may be characterized by simpleness, individuality, differentiation and popularity reflecting the fashion of the time. In consideration of such characteristics, makeup works are presented. For KBS anchor women, the makeup is focused on an intellectual and reliable image, while the makeup for SBS anchor women is expressed as a beauty makeup added up by popularity reflecting the fashion of the time. In short, it was attempted to differentiate the makeups between two channels. The suggestions for anchor women's makeup can be summed up as follows; First, since anchor women have an image of reporter or journalist, makeup for them needs to be focused on an intellectual image and a sense of reliability. Second, since the audience respond very sensitively to 'IT makeups with development of TV technology, it is important to express its colors and forms more carefully. Third, a sense of reliability on role must depend on natural makcup. Fourth, it is desirable to avoid blue or green eye shadow, light red lip or dark purple lip stick. Fifth, it is deemed desirable to use the most possible natural orange brown eye shadow color tones without any pearl, and match the lip stick colors with those of the jacket to look refined and calm. The recent fashionable makeup techniques or products (pearl, glossy type lip glosses) should be avoided.
