HDTV 扮裝環境에서의 皮膚 再現色에 관한 硏究

Abstract

현대사회에 있어서 텔레비전의 영향력은 그 중요성이 다른 어떠한 대중매체에 비할 수 없을 것이다. 미디어로서의 텔레비전이 가지는 특성과 속성은 기술의 발전과 제작기법의 발달을 요구해 왔으며, TV분장기법 또한 예외는 아니다. 현재 시험방송중인 HDTV 환경에서의 제작방식은 기술의 변화로 인해 아날로그 제작시스템에서 단순하게 처리되었던 배경화면, 세트디자인 분장 및 화면의 구성 등으로는 많은 문제가 발생하였으며, 따라서 기존의 영상과는 상이한 차원에서 접근하고 제작하는 상황으로 발전하게 되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 시대적 흐름에 따라 변화되고 있는 HDTV 환경에 접근할 수 있는 분장기법에 관하여 실험을 통해 그 해답을 찾고자 하였다. TV분장은 극중인물의 환경적 요인이나 유전적인 요인을 암시하기 위하여 일차적으로 피부표현이 요구되는데 바로 이 피부색은 피부의 상태의 표현정도에 따라 사는곳이나 직업 건강상태가 나타나며 인종과 출생을 짐작할 수 있게 해준다. 이러한 피부의 표현은 조명과 텔레비전의 메카니즘 특성에 의해 그 재현색이 달라지게 된다. 그리고 남·여 두 인물을 two shot으로 촬영할 경우 배우들간의 스킨톤 차이가 문제로 제기되는데 이러한 경우, 남·여 두 인물의 skin tone을 어디에 기준으로 삼아야 하는지에 관한 문제가 자주 거론된다. 이러한 경우 피부재현색이 어떻게 선택되어야 하는지에 대해 남·여 두 인물중 여자의 기준에 남자 인물의 피부색을 같은 색상으로 착색했을 경우, 남·여 두 인물의 각자의 피부색을 고려하여 개별착색을 했을 경우의 실험을 SD촬영과 HD촬영을 통해 비교·실험하였다. 이러한 실험을 하는 의도는 결국 HDTV하에서 보다 이상적인 화면제공을 목적으로 하기 위함이다. 분장은 분명히 시대적 조류와 유행을 주도하는 의미있는 분야로서 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서 변화무쌍한 현대사회에 있어 시청자에게 만족감을 줄 수 있는 TV분장술의 개발과 연구가 활발히 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 논문의 범위는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제1장 서론에서는 위와 같은 연구목적을 가지고 연구문제와 연구방법을 설계하였다. (연구문제 1-1) 남·여 두 인물의 SD 찰영시 남자와 여자의 skin tone을 동일하게 착색했을 경우 피부재현색은 어떻게 나타날 것인가? (연구문제 1-2) 남·여 두 인물의 SD 촬영시 skin tone을 개별적으로(각각의 피부색과 동일하게) 착색했을 경우 피부 재현색은 어떻게 나타날 것인가? [연구문제 2] HD 촬영시 피부재현색은 어떻게 나타날 것인가? (연구문제 2-1) 남·여 두 인물의 HD 촬영시 남자와 여자의 skin tone을 동일하게 착색했을 경우 피부재현색은 어떻게 나타날 것인가? (연구문제 2-1) 남·여 두 인물의 HD 촬영시 남자와 여자의 skin tone을 개별적으로(각각의 피부색과 동일하게) 착색했을 경우 피부재현색은 어떻게 나타날 것인가? 둘째, 이상의 연구문제를 해결하기 위하여 제2장에서는 텔레비전 분장기법에 영향을 미치는 주요인들에 관해, 즉 영상표현에 있어서의 색조표현과 이러한색의 표현에 영향을 미치는 기술적 요인인 조명과 촬영 등을 이론적으로 제시하며 살펴보고자 하였다. 셋째, 제3장은 TV제작기법의 변화로 발전해온 분장의 특성과 HDTV 환경에서의 제작기법의 변화에 관하여 고찰하고자 하였다. 넷째, 제4장은 HDTV제작 환경에서의 피부재현색에 관한 분석실험을 토대로 분장방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 다섯째, 요약 및 논의를 통해 본 논문에서 제시된 연구문제에 대한 해답과 함께 후속연구에 대한 제언으로 본 논문을 구성해 보았다.|In terms of importance, the influence of Television is not comparable to that of other mass media in the modern times. The nature and property of TV as media have demanded higher technology and develped production technology and TV makeup technolgy is also no exception. Due to the change of technology, production technology of HDTV which is in the experimental stage has faced with a lot of problems in simply processed background screen, stage set design makeup and composition of screen in an alalog production system. Therefore, the enviroment of production technology in HDTV has required totally new methods unlike existing screen technology. This study is to find out new makeup method in HDTV envirounent with experiments to keep face with new trends. Firstly, skin expressions are needed to show environment factors or genetic causes in the characters in TV makeup and the degree of expression in the color of skin shows the living place, occupation and health status of characters and infers the race and birth place. These skin expressions have various types of appearance according to light and mechanical natures of TV. In case of two shot filming of two male and female characters, the different tone of skin in characters becomes an issue. The standard of skin tone between two characters is of fen discussed. For this, this study compared and tested in SD filming and HD filming whether the color of the skin of the male character should be colored on the basis of the color of female character or whether individual coloring should be considered according to the color of skin of each character. The purpose of the test is to supply ideal screen in HDTV broadcasting system. Makeup is a meaningful field and plays a major role in leading current trends and fashion. Therefore, the development and study of TV makeup should be actively done to give TV viewers satisfaction. The scope of this study is as follows; Firstly, questions and methods of the study are designed in the introduction, part I, with the stated purpose. (Question 1-1) How does the color of skin appear when skin tone of two male and female characters are equally colored in SD faming? (Question 1-2) How does the color of skin appear when skin tone of two male and female characters are individually colored (according to each character skin color) in SD filming? [Question 2] How does the color of skin appear in HD filrung? (Question 2-1) How does the color of skin appear when skin tone of two male and female characters are equally colored in HD faming? (Question 2-2) How does the color of skin appear when skin tone of two male and female characters are individually colored (according to each character skin color) in HD filming? Secondly, to answer to the above questions, the major influence factors of television makeup technology, coloring in screen and technical factors such as light and filming are described in the second chapter. Thirdly, the third chapter contemplates makeup nature in accordance with the developed TV program manufacturing technology and the change of production technology in HDTV environment. Fourthly, makeup technology is described on the basis of analysis on the color of skin in HDTV manufacturing environment. Finally, the proposal of follow-up study is described with the answers to the above questions together with summary and discussions.
