- Abstract
- This study is the impact of hotel restaurant kitchen manager’s external factors of leadership and leadership style on the organizational effectiveness.
The study adapts empirical analysis to find out general attribute which involves external factors of leadership, transformation leadership, servant leadership and organizational effectiveness also these factors has through credibility analysis for an exploratory analysis and identify analysis.
For a test of hypothesis it applies job intention and improvement, supporting, management system, goal and vision for external factors of leadership. The transformation leadership is including inspirational motivation, individual consideration and ideal influence moreover absorbed organization, job satisfaction, change of job intention factors used for organizational effectiveness.
For analyzing hypothesis 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 the study applies AMOS 5.0. According to result the study concludes below details and provides some of suggestions.
As the result of hypothesis 1, 2 shows that the external factors of leadership impact on transformation leadership which means that the organizational environment such as higher support is extremely important to be achieved both personal and organizational goal rather than enforce on unconditional obey.
Nowadays a number of organizations try to find out that what type of leadership is the most effective and efficient to operate organizations thus the industry adapt varieties management styles into actual practice.
According to research the traditional transformation management style is the most effective style of management therefore the industry should retain it for further improvement as well as develop it into more productive way.
Hypothesis 3 and 4 present the transformational leadership impact on the organizational effectiveness. Especially individual consideration factor impacts on absorbed organization, job satisfaction, change of job intention at the transformation leadership in particular this study presumes higher desire on personal development, organization's internal environment factors could be reasons for having influence on organizational effectiveness.
Within servant leadership the most of factors are not impact on organizational effectiveness it is including absorbed organization, job satisfaction and change of job intention. Based on above result the study assumes that the organizational culture faces a lack of flexibility it may reason for having negative causes to the management.
Particularly the hotel kitchen presents highly labor intensive environment thus the managerial level should engages suitable leadership style for controlling all level of employees. An accurate leadership style could be one of the majority factors to access effective management.
According to hypothesis 5 the external factors of leadership impact on the organizational effectiveness.
As the result indicates the organization should presents goal and vision to all group of members as well as provide developed working environment for attain effective management.
Also the hotel organization needs to produce mature and high quality of management team by well-trained program especially into kitchen environment.
Furthermore, human resource leadership program could be valuable method to well-communication among employees as well as the program would produce competitive advantage to the hotel kitchen organization this effort could enhance organizational effectiveness.
The hotel industry faces high turnover rate by unstable working condition also rarely hires new employees therefore the organizations have to enrich optimal management environment to create satisfied employees. The right leadership would navigate an opportunity to both employees and organizations for long term development.
