한국어 교육용 도깨비 설화 텍스트 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to suggest suitable ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tale through its context contained in Korean teaching books, and use this folk tale in Korean teaching. ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tale is one of the folk tales transmitted from a long time ago and it is a story of appearing ‘Dokkaebi’. ‘Dokkaebi’ is capable of changing its figure. As being handed down by people’s experience, ‘Dokkaebi’ has a lot of characters, and until now, we can find it in folk tales, adages, and Korean culture and so on. In chapter2, we examined kinds of ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tale which are contained on teaching books to analyze Korean teaching using Dokkaebi, and how to use it on teaching books. Moreover, we discovered that its conjugation is not enough and different from Korea Dokkaebi’s image, translation is magnified as a negative image Therefore, we need to use formulation of concept of ‘Dokkaebi’ and various Dokkaebi’s folk tale in teaching books in Korean teaching using ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tale. In chapter 3, we will go through features of ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tales based on its types. After that, we will analyze ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tales in teaching books and learning activities in Korean teaching. Not only we can find the symbolic meaning and features of Korean ‘Dokkaebi’ through the features of its folk tales base on its types, but also elements of Korean culture in folk tales. It tries to use it in Korean teaching by analyzing ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tales and learning activities in Korean teaching. In chapter 4, it suggested ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tales in teaching books and learning activities to teach Korean. And It selects the standards of ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tales of Korean teaching based on analyzed features of ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tales and analysis of ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tales teaching books that we discussed in chapter 3. Also we select a ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tale teaching book and organize learning activities We can understand the meanings of common uses, proverbs, and figures of speech through the learning activities based on symbols of ‘Dokkaebi’. As experiencing culture related to a ‘Dokkaebi’, it is possible to understand Korean people and culture by comparing their own culture. As you can see, ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tale can be used as teaching material in Korean teaching. This paper suggests standards of selections in ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tale and organizes learning activity with ‘Dokkaeb’i folk tale as the center. This paper means a study of ‘Dokkaebi’ folk tale teaching books that have not been used a lot in teaching Korean, and hopefully it would help teaching Korean.|본 논문은 한국어 교재에 수록된 도깨비 설화 텍스트 연구를 통해 교육에 적합한 도깨비 설화 텍스트를 제안하고, 한국어 교육에 활용하는데 목적이 있다. 도깨비 설화는 옛날부터 전해 내려오는 설화 중 하나로, ‘도깨비’가 등장하는 이야기이다. 도깨비는 다양한 모습으로 변하는 재주와 신기한 도깨비 방망이를 가진 존재이다. 사람들의 경험담이 구전되면서 도깨비는 다양한 성격을 지니게 되었고, 현재까지도 설화, 속담, 한국 문화 등에서 쉽게 찾아볼 수 있다. 2장에서 도깨비 설화를 활용한 한국어 교육을 분석하기 위해 교재에 수록된 도깨비 설화에는 무엇이 있고, 교재에 어떻게 활용되고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 다양한 도깨비 설화 텍스트 활용이 부족한 점, ‘도깨비’ 번역이 한국의 도깨비상과 다르게 부정적 이미지로 부각된 점을 제기하였다. 도깨비 설화를 활용한 한국어 교육에서는 한국 문화 속 도깨비의 개념 정립과 다양한 도깨비 설화 텍스트의 활용이 필요하기 때문이다. 3장에서는 도깨비 설화의 유형별 특성을 살펴보고, 국어 교육의 도깨비 설화 텍스트와 학습활동을 분석하였다. 도깨비 설화의 유형별 특성을 통해 한국의 도깨비 특성과 상징 의미를 알고, 설화 속 한국 문화 요소도 알 수 있기 때문이다. 국어 교육의 도깨비 설화 텍스트와 학습 활동을 분석하여 한국어 교육에서의 활용 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 4장에서는 한국어 교육용 도깨비 설화 텍스트와 학습활동을 제안하였다. 3장에서 논의한 도깨비 설화의 특성과 국어 교육의 도깨비 설화 텍스트 분석을 바탕으로 한국어 교육의 도깨비 설화 텍스트 기준을 선정하였다. 그리고 도깨비 설화 텍스트 하나를 선정하여 학습활동을 구성하였다. 이와 같은 학습활동 구성은 도깨비의 상징성을 바탕으로 관용어, 속담 및 비유 표현 등이 가진 의미를 이해할 수 있다. ‘도깨비’와 관련된 문화 체험을 함으로써 한국인과 한국 문화를 이해하고 자국의 문화와 비교하는 활동도 가능하다. 이처럼 한국어 교육에서 도깨비 설화는 한국 문화를 이해하기 위한 교육 자료로 활용될 수 있다. 본고는 한국어 교육을 위한 도깨비 설화 텍스트 선정 기준을 제시하고, 이러한 기준을 중심으로 도깨비 설화를 선정하여 학습활동을 구성하였다. 지금까지 한국어 교육에서 논의가 많이 이루어지지 않았던 도깨비 설화 텍스트 연구라는 것에 의의를 두고 한국어 교육에 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바란다.
