플립러닝을 활용한 한국 문화 교육 방안 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 베트남인 학습자들을 대상으로 플립러닝을 활용한 한국 문화 교육 방안을 개발하는 연구이다. 한국 문화 교육은 학습자들의 언어 능력 향상 뿐만 아니라 상호 의사소통에도 도움이 되며, 특히 최근에는 베트남에서 한국어를 공부하고 한국에 체류하는 인원이 늘어나면서 한국 문화 교육의 중요성이 더욱 부각되고 있다. 이에 문화 교육을 위한 다양한 방법이 개발되었지만 제한된 학습 시간과 학습자들 간의 언어 능력 차이로 학습자들에게 올바른 교육을 하기 어렵다. 플립러닝을 활용한 문화 교육 방안은 이러한 어려움을 극복하고 각 학습자의 수준에 맞는 맞춤형 수업을 제공할 수 있는 적절한 방법으로 여겨진다. 본 연구는 교육 방안 개발을 위하여 90명의 베트남인 학습자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사를 통해 한국 문화 교육에 대한 요구와 플립러닝 수업에 대한 선호도와 어려움을 파악했다. 이를 토대로 한국 문화 교육 방안을 개선하고 학습에 있는 어려움을 극복하는 방안을 제안했다. 한국 문화 교육을 위한 플립러닝을 적용하여 수업 전과 교실 내 수업의 두 가지 단계를 바탕으로 수업 활동들을 보충하며 교실 내 수업을 도입, 제시설명 및 활동, 마무리의 4단계로 세분화하였다. 또한 베트남인 학습자들에게 ‘일상생활’의 어떤 문화 내용을 전달할지 초.중.고급 단계로 분류하며 어떠한 내용들을 가르쳐야 할지에 대해 구체적으로 기술했다. 마지막으로 이러한 한국문화 교육 방안을 실제로 어떻게 진행할지 수업 지도안에 관련한 예시를 자세히 작성했다. 본 논문은 베트남인 학습자들에게 필요한 한국 문화 교육 요구를 충족시키고 학습자들이 효과적으로 한국 문화를 이해하고 체험할 수 있도록 돕기 위한 플립러닝을 활용한 한국 문화교육 방안을 제시하였다. 한국어 및 한국 문화 교육에 대한 국제적인 수요가 높아지는 상황에서 본 연구는 베트남 학습자들에게 효과적이고 현대적인 학습 방법을 제공함으로써 교육 발전에 기여하고자 한다. [주요어] 한국 문화 교육, 플립러닝, 베트남인 학습자 |This thesis is a study on developing a Korean cultural education plan by applying the Flipped Learning method for Vietnamese learners. It not only helps learners improve their language skills but also helps with communication. In particular, as the number of people studying Korean in Vietnam and staying in Korea have been recently increasing, the importance of Korean cultural education is becoming more prominent. There are various methods for cultural education that have been developed, but it is difficult to provide correct education to learners due to limited learning time and differences in language skills among learners. Cultural education using flipped learning is considered an appropriate way to overcome these difficulties and provide customized classes tailored to the level of each learner. This study was conducted a survey of 90 Vietnamese learners to develop and implement teaching Korean culture method. Through a survey, it is identified learner’s needs and hobbies as well as their preferences and difficulties in learning Korean cultural education by Flipped Learning method. This thesis is compiled to help Vietnamese learners find the best way to break the barriers in learning Korean culture. It is divided into 2 stages in teaching Korean culture by using Flipped Learning method which are pre-class and at the class. While learning at the class, it is subdivided into four parts: introduction, explanation, activity and conclusion. In addition, this thesis is specifically shown the different themes of culture, for instance what cultural content of “daily life” should be taught to Vietnamese learners, classifying it into elementary, middle, and advanced levels. Lastly, we created a detailed syllabus of how to implement the Korean cultural class which is applied Flipped Learning Method. This cultural teaching by Flipped Learning method thesis is aiming to meet the Vietnamese learner’s demand on learning Korean culture and help learners get well comprehension as well as fully experience Korean culture. Nowadays, the need of learning Korean as well as its culture on the international scale demand has highly risen, this study is sought to contribute to the development of education by providing effective and modern learning language methods to Vietnamese learners. <Keywords> Korean Culture Education, Flipped Learning, Vietnamese Learners
