幼稚園敎育과 初等學校敎育 間의 連繫性에 관한 硏究

Abstract
This study was intended to investigate linkage education between kindergarten and elementary school in actual learning and teaching by identifying the realities of its educational spot and investigating a difference in the perception of the operation of its curriculum. For this purpose, the questionnaire research was conducted for 327 kindergarten and elementary 1st-grade teachers. Data from the questionnaire research were statistically analyzed using the SAS program. Percentage and chie-square test were conducted in terms of teachers' background factors. The level of significance was tested for the intergroup difference at the level of he level of P<.05, P<.01, P<.001. The contingency coefficient was confirmed. Based upon the study results, the following conclusion was drawn:
First, both groups of kindergarten and elementary teachers responded that linkage education between kindergarten and elementary school in actual learning and teaching is needed, But it was found to be low in actual learning and teaching. Kindergarten teachers made an more active evaluation of linkage education than elementary teachers.
Second, both groups of kindergarten and elementary teachers focused its curricular operation on healthy physical development and safe and pleasant life, and cultivation of children as democratic citizens. And both groups attached importance to open learning in the learning-teaching method. It was found that kindergarten teachers made use of the more flexible learning method than elementary teachers.
Third, both groups of kindergarten and elementary teachers felt the necessity for communication to achieve linkage education between kindergarten and elementary school, but the level of actual communication was found to be low. Both groups of kindergarten and elementary teachers showed the will to participate in the program for linkage education between kindergarten and elementary school if necessary. Both groups of kindergarten and elementary teachers wanted children's parents to has trust and respect for them.
Kindergarten teachers, elementary teachers, parents, and educational administrative agency are required to make a concerted effort to achieve linkage education between kindergarten and elementary school. For this purpose, an understanding of the curriculum between kindergarten and elementary school, the joint in-service research meeting on childhood development and an understanding of the learning-teaching method and its characteristics through the mutual inspection of classes are needed to assist children in achieving good learning. And to achieve more smooth linkage between kindergarten and elementary school, it is necessary to make kindergarten education mandatory and public education. It is thought that it is necessary that the educational administrative agency should give consideration to the guarantee of the status of kindergarten teachers.
