우리나라 영유아 보육시설의 최적 실내 환경 구성에 관한 연구

Abstract

현재 우리나라의 사회는 과거와 달리 많은 여성들의 사회, 경제활동을 요구하고 있으며, 이것은 선택적 사항이 아닌 필수적인 요건으로 변하고 있다. 하지만 여러 가지 이유에서 여성의 사회, 경제활동의 참여가 제한되고 있다. 여성들에게 있어서 경제활동에 대한 기대는 지속적으로 높아지고 있지만, 실제적으로 취업을 한 여성들도 직장을 그만 두고 있는 실정이다. 특히, 결혼과 자녀양육에 대한 문제는 많은 고급여성인력을 경제활동에서 떠나 가사에 묶어두고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 보다 효율적으로 영유아를 교육할 수 있음이 인증된 레지오 에밀리아 접근법을 사용하여 우리나라의 보육시설에서도 영유아로 하여금 환경을 통하여 공간을 지각하고 학습능력을 향상시키는 긍정적인 효과를 극대화시키기 위하여 이 교육방법론을 도입한 영유아 보육시설의 최적 실내 환경을 구성하는 연구를 하고자 한다. 그러므로 레지오 에밀리아 접근법을 통한 영유아 보육 실내 환경에 대하여 연구하여 교육 프로그램과 공간과의 관계성을 알아보고, 일반보육시설을 대상으로 한 연구결과를 통하여 공간에 대한 기준설정을 통하여 연구결과를 도출하고, 일반 보육시설에의 적용가능성을 살펴보고자 한다. 제 1장은 연구의 서론 부분으로 연구의 배경 및 목적과 연구의 방법 및 범위를 서술 한다. 제 2장에서는 영유아 발달과 보육에 관하여 인간의 발달 이론을 통한 영유아의 시기에 따른 영역별 발달 특성과 보육에 대한 일반적인 내용을 이론적으로 고찰해 본다. 제 3장에서는 보육시설 환경 구성의 접근을 위하여 보육환경과 영유아 발달의 중요성과 레지오 에밀리아 접근법의 교육이론을 보다 상세히 이론적 고찰을 통해 알아본다. 제 4장에서는 일반 보육시설과 레지오 에밀리아 접근법을 활용하는 보육시설의 현황 및 사례를 비교분석하여 레지오 에밀리아 보육시설의 실내환경 효과에 대해 살펴보고 우리나라 레지오 에밀리아 보육시설의 방향을 연구한다. 제 5장에서는 이 앞의 과정을 통하여 레지오 에밀리아 접근법을 적용한 보육시설의 실내 환경 방안을 제안한다. 이 프로그램이 보육시설에 어떻게 흡수 되어, 공간별 갖고 있는 특성과 목적을 구체적으로 알 수 있다. 제 6장은 결론 부분으로, 본 연구의 내용을 정리하고 레지오 에밀리아 접근법을 적용한 보육시설의 특성과 목적을 중심으로 본 연구의 결론을 도출한다. 이상의 분석을 통하여 다음과 같이 레지오 에밀리아 접근법의 교육이론을 적용한 보육시설의 실내 환경을 구성하였다. 첫째는 대부분의 보육시설의 공간의 형태는 유희공간 중심을 취하고 있다. 이런 유희공간을 중앙의 공용공간인 레지오 에밀리아 접근법의 피아자의 공간으로 적절히 삽입하여 활용할 수 있다. 이렇게 중앙에 만남의 장소를 두고 사방으로 교실과 아뜰리에가 배치될수 있다면 가장 바람직한 실내 환경 구성의 형태가 될 것이다. 둘째는 영유아들을 연령별로 구분하여 환경을 구성하여 공간을 사용해야 할 것이다. 영아들의 경우 큰 움직임 없이 한곳에서 다양한 활동을 하고 종일반의 형태로 있기 때문에 그들을 위해 공간의 가변성과 효율성, 융통성을 고루 발휘할 수 있어야 한다. 또한 영아실의 경우, 교실 안에 청정실과 수유실 등을 함께 배치하는 것이 바람직하다. 셋째로는 실내의 공간을 적절히 활용한 영유아들의 신체발달을 위한 환경구성이 필요하다. 물론 실내의 공간의 확보가 실질적으로 어려울 수는 있지만 외부의 공간이 협소하다면 건물의 내부를 보다 적극적으로 활용하여야 한다. 넷째는 다목적 교사실을 구성하도록 한다. 자료실과 교사실을 겸할 수 없는 경우, 창고와 같은 공간이 꼭 필요하다고 본다. 마지막으로 보육시설의 색채는 공간의 외부에 들어간 재료의 내용을 고려하여 솔직하게 표현하는 것이 바람직하다. 많은 보육시설들이 그저 시각에 편안한 아이보리 색채를 사용하여 실내의 벽을 구성하는데, 이 경우 외부와 내부가 서로 분리되어 상호교류가 되지 않을 수 있다. | Unlike in the past and the current Korea's society, many women in economic activities and social activities are required, and also it is an optional non-essential requirements are changing.
