Abstract

Due to women's advance to society in modern society, female customers tend to grow in neat, simple and short style rather than style in long hair. Owing to this change in style, the up-style customers, whom are faced on the field by hair designers, are many customers in short hair. Thus, it is the reality of coming to confront difficulty. Therefore, many hair designers are in the real situation of being afraid of the short-hair up-style performance. Up-style in modern society is being recognized as hair style, which is performed given the special event. Technique is being acquired only with long hair even when actually learning and practicing up-style. This study established theoretical ground on its necessity and importance in the application level of hairpiece according to the short-hair up-style performance, and analyzed the materials, which were collected through questionnaire survey, with spss 16.0. First, the survey subjects' general characteristics were surveyed to be 37.4% for under 10 years of beauty career in hair designers and to be 33.4% for 102 people of hair designers' age level in their late twenties, thereby having been surveyed to have worked much at beauty salon. Second, as a result of analyzing the actual condition for up-style, the experience of systematic up-style education was surveyed to be insufficient. The hair length, which was used especially in up-style education, was indicated to be mostly 64.9% for 198 people with long length. The difficult up-style hair length was the largest with 64.9% for 98 people with short hair. The up-style course of being desired to learn was surveyed to be 59.75 for 182 people with salon style. Third, the difficulties for performance out of the actual condition for up-style education included Back comb inserting and hair volume. Thus, the importance of volume could be recognized. Difficulty for using back comb was surveyed to have failed to be inserted evenly. What is used in performing up-style with short hair was surveyed to be the highest with 70.2% for 214 people with hairpiece. As a result, the actual condition for using hairpiece could be known. Fourth, in the content of question as saying of being convenient given using hairpiece in up-style performance, it was indicated to be positive regardless of beauty career. Fifth, it was surveyed to be high in the answer as saying of being more satisfied with the performance result when using hairpiece in performing up-style of short hair than having not used hairpiece. Sixthly, it was responded as saying of being convenient given using hairpiece in short hair to the question about hairpiece use level in the office form. Thus, it was answered as saying of being more satisfied with the performance result than when having not used hairpiece in short hair. Accordingly, the necessity of hairpiece was emphasized. The following are the results that this researcher tried to revive a work directly based on the results of analyzing questionnaire. First, it was convenient given using hairpiece in up-style performance. Second, given using hairpiece when performing up-style of short hair, the head form in a person of being performed can be supplemented. Third, given using hairpiece when performing up-style of short hair, the performance result was more satisfactory when having not used. Hair designers recognize importance of hairpiece in up-style performance of short hair, but are not learnt about its application method, thereby having been surveyed not to utilize diversely hairpiece in up-style performance of short hair. Accordingly, the background of this study can be seen that the volume educational system needs to be performed in the up-style curriculum. This study asserts that importance and application of hairpiece on up-style performance in short hair can be said to be very diverse and useful sections.
