알폰스 무하의 회화에 표현된 조형적 특성을 응용한 아트마스크 디자인 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 알폰스 무하의 회화에서 표현된 아르누보의 감성과 부드러운 형태와 색채 및 표현기법 분석을 토대로 그가 작품세계에서 추구하고자 했던 작가의 감성을 아트마스크 디자인으로 제안하고자 하였다. 아트마스크 작품 제작에 앞서 이미지스케일과 NCS 색채계 분석을 통해 알폰스 무하의 아르누보 시기 회화 작품에 대해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 자연스럽고 부드러운 색채와 이국적인 원색이 특징이다. 이에 따라 분석한 회화 가운데 5작품을 선정하여 작품에 응용하였다. 선정된 회화의 모티브 및 색채의 조형적 특성을 응용하여 7작품의 아트마스크 디자인을 제안하였다. 제안한 작품들은 알폰스 무하의 회화에 표현된 조형적 특성을 응용한 아트마스크 디자인으로 활용하여 아르누보 스타일의 이미지를 표현하는데 효과적이었다고 사료된다. 알폰스 무하의 회화에 나타난 아르누보의 장식성은 다양한 분야에 활용되어 오늘날에도 현대 미술 각 분야에 나타나며 예술 양식에 다양한 디자인과 스타일, 아이디어를 제공하고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 보았을 때, 뷰티관련 산업과 교육의 발달, 아트마스크가 메이크업 디자인의 한 분야로써 관심을 받으면서 다양한 디자인이 요구되고 있는 만큼 본 연구에서 제안한 아트마스크 디자인은 뷰티예술 분야의 조형적 예술 가치를 높이고 아트마스크 작품을 제작하는 아티스트들에게 도움이 되고자 한다.| This study proposes the sensibility pursued by Alphonse Mucha in his works with the art mask designs based on the analyses of the art nouveau emotions, the soft forms and color and the expression technic displayed in Much's paintings. For the detail goal of study, Much's paintings that signified him as a representative artists in his time with the sufficient fine curves and soft colors are researched and the formative characteristics displayed in the works are analyzed. Based on such researches and analyses, the symbolic meaning pursued by the painter is expressed on the art mask design by applying the characteristics of painting and the art mask designs highlighting the pictorial characteristics is presented. Before the production of art mask works, the paintings of Alphonse Mucha in the art nouveau times are analyzed through the analysis of image scale and NCS color system. The analysis result shows the soft colors and exotic primary colors are the characteristics. According to such result, 5 works are selected from the analyzed painting and applied to the work. By applying the formative characteristics of colors and motives of the selected paintings, 7 art mask designs are presented. The presented works are considered to be effective to express images in the art nouveau style by utilizing the art mask designs to which the formative characteristics expressed in the paintings of Alphonse Mucha are applied. The presented art mask designs are desired to be helpful for the artists who increase the value of formative art of the beauty art area and produce art mask works.
