Abstract
In this study, the test was carried out by using the mask sheet pack which is very easy to use for anybody after measuring the state of moisture around the forehead, eyes, cheek, nose, and jaw to test the homogeneity and identify the state of moisture in the control group, test 1 group, and test 2 group before trials, targeting on 30 middle-aged women in their 40's who reside in Daegu.
The following conclusion was reached to suggest the effective method and desirable application for each type of skin through the degree of skin beauty knowledge, applying the face mask sheet pack, and the satisfaction level and comparison of the moisture change in the facial skin after applying the lotion.

First, as to the demographic features, the female professionals in 40's was the highest as the number of 16 subjects, and 26 women out of them had an experience of using the face mask sheet pack for a home care.
As the result of self-monitoring, the combination was the highest as the number of 18 subjects, and the coincidence between the self-monitoring and measurement by the device showed that 18 subjects out of them were well aware of their skin.
Second, as the result of an analysis on the knowledge level for the skin types, the rate of correct answer for the ‘oily skin’ was the highest as 93.3%, and the general rate of correct answer was 86.7% on average.
The knowledge level for the skin types was followed subsequently by the normal skin, combination skin, and dry skin.

Third, as to the moisture change under groups, the lotion application was more effective than the mask sheet pack to keep the moisture in the forehead, eyes, cheek, nose, and jaw. Fourth, as to the moisture change under the skin types, the amount of moisture in the lotion application increased a little more than the mask sheet pack and was effective to keep the moisture for the normal skin, dry skin and combination skin in the forehead, eyes, cheek, nose, and jaw.

Fifth, as the result of analyzing the satisfaction level after the test, ‘the lotion application’ was the effective pattern being high as the number of 20 subjects, and if the effect would be the same, ‘the lotion application’ was more preferred as the number of 18 subjects. As to the method desirable for the skin types, ‘the lotion application’ was more suitable for the skin types as 20 subjects responded, and in the case of the normal skin and dry skin, the lotion application was more suitable for their skin recording 100.0% out of subjects.
For the satisfaction level of the mask sheet pack, 2 subjects responded ‘highly satisfied’, and 4 subjects responded ‘very highly satisfied’ and 8 subjects responded ‘highly satisfied’ for that of the lotion application, making up 40% of the satisfaction level in the lotion application, which was more preferred. As to the question about the use of the mask sheet pack, it showed ‘the suitability with the skin types’ for 20 subjects and ‘indicated ingredients’ for 10 subjects, and the applying time of the mask sheet pack was the highest in ‘15 minutes’ as the number of 20 subjects, but it was ‘20 minutes’ for the dry skin and ‘15 minutes’ for the normal and combination skin, which showed a little difference.
The result of this study suggests that the lotion application was more effective to keep the moisture than the mask sheet pack by increasing the moisture amount both under the facial skin types and skin areas.
