아트메이크업의 表現技法 硏究

Abstract

Make-ups in the modern world are no longer the conventional art of standardization, but have become more individualized and diversified, and the conventional art make-ups are being used as a supplementary device to promote the level of perfection on fashion during fashion shows. However, as an independent artistic genre, make-ups can now be treated as art on its own not depending on fashion or other external elements and makes-ups have sufficient potentials to become a completely independent professional field in the future. At present, it might be early to say make-ups are an independently professional field, but I have carried out research on the related courses at beauty schools nationally since there is a possibility that makes-ups become an independent course at beauty schools in the near future. As a result, it has been found that about 26% of 4-year course universities and 46% of 2-year course colleges have established ？Make-ups？ as one of their formal courses.？ This result shows that make-ups have a growing potential to become an independent course at college level.？ By looking into the theses written by preceding researchers, it was found that the majority of the theses were focused on the concepts of ？art make-ups？ and combining the expressing techniques with the Art trend. However, by realizing that there has been no formulated work on the methodologies and the materials of art make-ups, I have decided to establish a list of materials used in art make-ups and the methodological theory of applying those materials with the objective of suggesting the appropriate materials and methodologies to be used in art make-ups. The research process is based on the consideration of the history and the influence of art make-ups throughout the Ancient, the Middle and the Modern ages, the Twentieth century and today with the fundamental concepts focused on the origins of art make-ups during the primitive age. The list of materials, the qualities of materials and the methods to use those materials have been studied. The presentation techniques and the examples of such techniques being applied have been collected in order to be analyzed and based on the previously mentioned theories, my final work has been completed. As a conclusion, it became clear that when listing the techniques of art make-ups there is a distinction between the methodological techniques of expression and the techniques shown in imaging works being expressed. For example, the graphical technique is defined as the expression of drawing a detailed picture by either using an air brush or painting, however, the techniques of using dyes is put together as the graphical techniques.？ It is considered that in order to eliminate confusion there must be a clear distinction between the pictorial, graphical and the application techniques of trivial with an example of one being expressed by design and the methodological ones such as the action painting, air brush techniques and etc. The theoretical consideration of those six techniques mentioned above was carried out, however, I regret that the design of the actual work was not completed and the limitation of this research is that there has been no suggestion of works using more diversified materials.
