생태유아교육 프로그램이 영아의 정서지능에 미치는 영향

Abstract

최근 들어 생태유아교육에 대한 관심이 증가하고 연구가 활발하게 이루어지고 있지만, 생태유아교육이 제대로 실천되기 위해서는 아직 여러 가지 한계와 과제를 가지고 있다. 예를 들어, 생태유아교육은 그 교육내용과 프로그램이 통합적으로 이루어져야 함에도 실제 교육현장에서는 단일 프로그램을 적용하여 일회성 흥미 유발로 활용되는 경우가 적지 않고, 프로그램 연구 또한 단일 프로그램을 적용하는 연구가 대부분이다. 또한 생태유아교육은 영아기부터 시작하는 것이 효과적이고 바람직함에도 불구하고, 지금까지 생태유아교육 연구는 유아를 대상으로 하는 연구가 주로 이루어졌다. 따라서 영아를 대상으로 하면서, 생태유아교육 프로그램을 통합적으로 적용한 연구가 이루어질 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 영아를 대상으로 다양한 생태유아교육 프로그램을 복합적으로 실시하여 이것이 영아의 정서지능에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 즉, 생태유아교육 프로그램을 복합적으로 적용하였을 때, 영아가 자신의 정서를 인식, 표현, 조절하고 적절하게 이용하며 타인의 정서를 인지하고 감정이입과 배려를 통해 원만한 대인관계를 형성하도록 하는데 효과가 있는가를 검토하였다. 연구대상은 서울시 소재 어린이집 만 2세반 원아 20명이며, 영아들을 두 그룹으로 나누어 ‘생태유아교육 프로그램’과 기존의 ‘표준보육과정 중심의 프로그램’을 각각 8주간 실시하고, 그 후 두 집단이 정서 지능에서 차이가 있는지를 알아보았다. 본 연구에서 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과, 생태유아교육 프로그램을 실시한 영아가 그렇지 않은 영아보다 자기 정서의 인식 및 표현, 감정의 조절 및 충동억제, 자기 정서의 이용, 타인 정서의 인식 및 배려, 교사와의 관계, 또래와의 관계, 정서지능이 높은 것으로 나타났으며 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통하여, 정서지능에서 동일한 집단으로 간주되던 두 집단이 생태유아교육 프로그램을 실시한 영아가 표준보육과정 중심의 프로그램을 실시한 영아보다 정서지능이 높아졌음을 알 수 있다. 생태유아교육 프로그램이 영아의 정서지능에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 밝힌 본 연구를 통하여, 유아교육 현장에서 영아의 정서지능 향상을 위해 다양한 생태유아교육 프로그램이 통합적으로 적용될 수 있기를 기대한다.| Recently, the ecological students related to early childhood education is actively made, but still eco-early childhood education program is not take place in the field of education in everyday life and not a few cases that are devoted to the one-time curiosity and to induce an interest. In addition, the ecological education of the infant would be effective starting at infancy and toddlers should be equipped with a variety of programs that target even though, so far, eco-early childhood education research study was done primarily targeted to toddlers. Therefore, a single program, targeted at infants, but takes place in the ecology of everyday life the early childhood education program study a little more diverse and there is a need to be active. In this study, a variety of eco-early childhood education program had conducted to find out how it impacts on infant’s emotional intelligence. And they examined how infant recognizing his or her emotion, expressing, controlling and using it suitably and also they examined how it effects to recognize other’s emotions and caring interpersonal relationships through the empathy and considering. Research targets were 2years old children from K children’s home in Seoul as an experimental group and 2years old 10 children from H children’s home in Seoul as a comparison group. They compared the difference between the group conducted with eco-early childhood education program and existing standard of care process-centric program.
