父母의 虐待가 兒童性格에 미치는 影響

Abstract

The abuse of children at home makes many of them get sick though they are the assets to lead the country. The abuse of children at home becoming a social issue is the problem to all of us, not that only at home. Thus, this article aims at clarifying the causes of abuse occurring due to various courses, measuring abuse of children at home, and closely examining how it influences children's character through 6 types of character, coming up with the basic data for teaching, correcting and healing their character and teaching their life and helping the sound nurturing of children. It sampled 200 subjects from 4 schools located at Euijeongbu, Kyunggi-do during the period of Nov. 6 and 9, 2000. It used SPSS/PC program for data analysis, performed credibility analysis for the questionnaire. And it performed T-test to examine the abuse types for children, and correlation analysis to examine the relationship between abuse types and character types. The results of this research are as follows. Looking at the abuse experience of research subjects, it was indicated 44%, 88 of 200 persons had the experience. And as for the residency problem, the children living at leases house, had higher rate of experiencing abuse, and as for the parental types, those without parents received more abuse. As for the influence of parents' education background, those whose father's school career is low suffered from more abuse. As for the relation classmate those without good relation received more abuse, and those with bad school grades received more abuse. Looking at the character type test to the subjects, it was indicated that the average of activity factors, 2.05, that of sociability factors, 2.55, that of responsibility factors, 2.55, that of thoughtfulness, 2.75, and that of superiority factors were higher than that of those without going through abuse. Comprehensively, it is found that the average of activity, sociability, responsibility thoughtfulness, superiority except stability of 6 types of characters for the group without experience was higher. As considered above, it is found the abuse of children happens due to variables at home, That is, home structure, economic cause, parents' education background, relationship with classmates, school record have effect on it. Thus, to prevent the abuse of children, comprehensive measures should be taken and the governmental, social support of homes and general intervention in abusing parents and abused children should be needed. Also as the abuse of children impairs their character and it will be handed down to, so general treatment of those parents and children is required. Thus, various researches on variables for children are needed, preventive measures should be taken and the research of psychological cure for abuse children should be performed.
