방과후 아동보육에 대한 학부모의 욕구에 관한 연구
- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to investigate the parents' needs for childcare after school.
The developemental peculiarity of school aged child, the aim and the necessity of childcare are included in the range of this inquiry and this study makes an effort to present what the amelioration program of childcare after school that helps a faimly function and its supplements through contemplating a present status of childcare after school in both of internal and external and understanding the parents' needs.
Suggestions which based on the exsiting literature and the results of research about parents' needs for childcare after school are as follows :
The first, with due regard to the children, place and facility should be ready.
The second, a legal basis of educational facilities is required.
The third, an arrangement standard of childcare teacher and a foundation standard of nursery school should be made the rules less strict.
The faurth, an extension of childcare teachers traning course after school is to be needed.
The fifth, various developmental program that suits school aged child's developmental stages is required.
The sixth, a better treatment of childcare teacher after school necessay.
Presently, the nursery school is increasing. So, the nursery school what gets ready for a juvenile guidance program after school have to be augmented to all-round education throughout a field activity, a homework, and an art education which give priority to the character and the sociality's advancement, and it keeps the incipient purpose that simply takes care of the children after school as well.
The true state of affairs is that childcare fee from the parents is not enough to pay teachers who look after their children, therefore, a progressive financial support of government and an additional expenses from the parents are indispensable conditions to increase the nursery school.
The financial support of government should give aids as like a loan for facilities and a personnel expense assistance of teacher to a nongovernmental facility as much as a public subsidiary organ.
A coefficient of utilization of nursery school may not be reduced if it claims a additional expenses after completing the better programs because parents have a mind to additional pay accroding to the quality of educationl program.
It may be an another way that only institution certified standard can be given a government subsidy after setting up a certification stipulation of childcare facilities which fits in well with the lowdown of Korea.
It encourages a present social welfare organs and an elementary school to get a facility, and measures that a proprietary school, a nursery, a home, and a religious organ could lead well-qualified facility are needed.
To get rid of the parents' feeling of anxiety and to fulfill the right of welfare can be achieved by a pay-by-the-hour or 24 hours childcare.
There should be a lot of discussions and ameliorations about how to make a educational process substantial and how to extent a period of course to cultivate the teacher's temperament and ability. Almost home including a dual-income family is conscious of the necessity for childcare within a school holiday.
An independent activities is important for an elementary schoolchild to grow. Thus, offering of a special program, running of a field activity, working of a forenoon events, and all-day class for a dual-income family or a child who lives with his widowed are required.
Parents' cooperation is necessary absolutely in the childcare. A periodical conversation about management of the educational program and growth process of the children should be taken.
