무용창작 「Happy ending」에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 히키코모리에 대하여 본 연구자가 해석한 작품으로, 은둔형 외톨이가 본인의 한계를 뛰어넘어 보려 하지만 이내 본인만의 안식처로 돌아 간다는 결말에 대한 연구와 작품 분석이다. 히키코모리 즉 은둔형 외톨이는 친구가 한명도 없거나 사회일원으로써 사회 참여를 하지 않는 사람이라고 정의한다. 친구 이외 가족들간에 감정적 교류와 대화가 없고, 부모의 양육방식에서도 원인을 찾을 수 있다. 자유로운 방임형 과 지나친 과잉보호형이 많다. 또한 오늘날 사회 문제로 화두가 되어지는 입 시 준비교육, 입시경쟁, 학업에 대한 과도한 부담감 등에서 많은 교육문제가 발생하고 있다. 이러한 교육문제와 사회 전체로서의 사회 구조 문제가 은둔형 외톨이가 되는 여러 가지 원인이다. 사람들에게 받은 모진 말들과 험담, 시기 질투, 타인으로부터 받는 시선으로 받는 따가운 눈초리, 외모지상주의, 성추행, 폭력, 따돌림, 취업 실패, 부모의 과잉 간섭 등 사회적, 가정적 여러 가지 이유들로 자기자신을 본인이 생각하 는 보호처에 몸을 숨기고 그곳을 벗어나지 않는다. - ii - 그중 본 안무자는 대인관계 사람과 사람의 관계에 대한 문제를 이야기를 하고자 한다. 대인관계로 인해 오는 두려움으로 인해 마음의 문을 닫고 본인 만의 편안함과 평온함을 인식하고 있는 공간에서 자발적인 은둔형 외톨이 즉 히키코모리를 선택한 ‘나’라는 인물을 만들어 소라게라는 소재에 비유하여 표 현하고자 했다. 소라게는 성장하면서 작은 소라에서 좀 더 큰 소라로 이동하며 살아간다. 이러한 특징 때문에 사람들에게 Hermit crad(은둔자 게)라고 불린다. 이 특징 을 이용하여 작은 집에서 큰집으로 이동하는 소라게를 은둔형 외톨이(히키코 모리)에 소재로 사용하였다. 수면 위를 바라보지만 그 위로 올라가지 못할 것을 잘 알고 있기에 이내 포기하고 소라를 통해 이동하며 살아가는 삶이 은둔형 외톨이와 많이 닮았다 고 본 안무자는 생각한다. 인간과 함께 살아가는 사회생활을 이어나가지 못하는 한계를 넘지 못하고 계속해서 어려움을 느끼는 나 자신을 뒤돌아보게 하는 모습을 이 작품을 통 해 표현 및 분석 하였다. |As a thesis on Hikikomori the researcher has interpreted, this is a research and work analysis on the conclusion in which a secluded loner who aims to overcome one’s limitation goes back to one’s own haven soon. Hikikomori, that is a secluded loner is defined as a person who has no friend at all or does not participate in society as a member. In this case, there is no emotional exchange or conversation with family members either. The reason could be found in parenting style. A lot of parents have the permissive parenting style or overprotective parenting style. Also, the current social problems like education for college entrance examination, competition for entrance examination, and excessive stress from studies are causing many educational problems. Such educational problems and social structural problems as a whole society could be the - 47 - reasons why people become a secluded loner. Because of many social and domestic reasons such as sharp remarks heard from people, slander, jealousy, harsh glare from others, lookism, sexual harassment, violence, bullying, failure in getting a job, and parents’ over-involvement, they hide themselves in their own haven and never get out of the place. Among them, this choreographer aimed to talk about the interpersonal issue. By creating a character of ‘myself’ who chose to voluntarily become a secluded loner, so-called Hikikomori in a space regarded as comfort and calmness after closing the door of mind by feeling afraid of interpersonal relationship, the choreographer aimed to express the secluded loner by comparing it to a hermit crab. In the growth process, a hermit crab moves from a small shell to a bit bigger shell. For this characteristic, it is called ‘hermit crab’. Using this characteristic, the hermit crab that moves from a small house to a bigger house was used as a material of secluded loner(Hikikomori). This choreographer thinks the life of a hermit crab that looks up the surface of the water, gives up soon after realizing it can’t go up, and moves from a shell to another resembles the life of a secluded loner. Through this work, this choreographer expressed and analyzed the look of looking back on oneself who kept feeling difficult in continuing social life together with other people
