國民學校와 幼稚園의 連繫 敎育이 國民學校 低學年 兒童에 미치는 影響

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provide a material for teacher's educational activity and managerial activity by having a good grasp of the actual condition of the educational spot based on the premise that kindergarten education should have a linkage with elementary school education in view of children's developmental traits and the efficiency of curriculum.
For purpose of attaining the purpose of this study, the content of study was set as follows :
1. An attempt is made to inquire into how kindergarten teachers and elementary school first-year teachers are operating their educational activities and what difference there is between them.
2. As attempt is made to inquire into how kindergarten teachers and elementary school first-year teachers are operating their managerial activities and what difference there is between them.
In this study, 313 kindergarten teachers and elementary school first-year teachers working in the kindergarten and elementary school located in Seoul were researched as the object of this study. As the research tool, the questionnaire method used in the previous study by Park Kyung-hee(1993) was employed by its modification and supplementation.
Collected data were statistically treated to calculate frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation by the items on the questionnaire. Statistical methods such as T-test and analysis of variance(ANOVA) were applied to determine the difference in opinions between two groups. The findings from this study are as follows.
Firstly, it was shown that female teachers mostly had the more or less high mean value than male teachers concerning the following items (1) Perceptional degree of the importance of the general aim of education; (2) Consideration of the matters to be considered in the planning of educational activity; (3) the extent to which the elementary school curriculum is emphasized at a time of actual educational activity; (4) perceptional degree of the significance of teaching methods; (5)extent to which at a time of the encouragement of learning its content is accomplished ; (6) evaluation of children ; (7) importance of the purpose of hosting several events ; and (8) cooperative method with children's parents. it is explained that this is attributable to the fact that female teachers are more meticulous due to its feminine trait than male teachers and have more experiences in instructing elementary-school first graders.
Secondly, when an inquiry was made into the importance of the general aim of education by age, by qualification and by career in relation to the linkage education of kindergarten and elementary school, teachers with older age and more career were shown to pay tremendous attention to most items and do their best to instruct children to the best of their ability and energy. And it was found that 1st-class full teachers had more interests than 2nd-class regular teachers.
Thirdly, it was found that female teachers mostly had a more or less high mean value than male teachers concerning such items as the importance of the general aim of education ; consideration of the matters to be considered in the planning of educational activity ; teaching method ; and cooperative method with children's parents.
