國民學校 敎育施設의 實態分析에 관한 硏究

Abstract
This study is aimed at analyzing the present situation of the school, class size and educational facilities in Kyonggi Province on the basis of the standard statute of Education Facilities and groping for the remedial measures for maximizing the effect of education. In order to attain this goal, the remedial measure should be proved by inquiring into the following matters and grasping the present condition of educational facilities with priority given to the reality of school facilities and investment in facilities in keeping with the quantitive change of education :
Firstly, is the school facility sufficient with the quantitive increase of educational population on the basis of the standard for school facilities?
Secondly, is there any difference in the expansion of school facilities between regions?
Thirdly, What is the changes in the environment of school facilities?
Fourthly, is the allocation of financial resources concerning school educational facilities apporpriate?
To attain the above objectives, the principal contents and method of study are as follows:

1) Grasping the concept of the educational facility.
2) exploring the statute for the standard for the school educational facility.
3) Making an in theoretical inquiry into related literature.
4) Grasping and analyzing the present condition of the quantitive change of education in Kyonggi Province.
5) Analyzing materials on the realities of investment in educational facilities.
6) Grouping for the remedial measure in accordance with the analysis of the present state of educational facilities.

1) Descriptive research and inquiring into precedent researches.
2) Collection and classification of data.
3) Analysis and interpretation of data.
4) Interviewing with the persons relating to facility administration.
The conclusion obtained through this study, can be summarized into 4 points as follows :
1. The number of schools, the number of classes and the number of students are increasing due to the concentration of population on urbon areas in terms of the quantitive change of education and the expansion of school facilities in accordance with the quatitive growth of education does not reach the standard for school facilities.
2. It can be said that there is a difference in the school facility between regions.
Seen from a perspective of securing the educational facility, it was shown that the urvan area was lower in securing school lot, the size of playground, and common classroom, the urbon area was better in terms of health/sanitation facilities and water supply facility,and the content, structure and quality of facilities were being improved better in case of urbon area.
3. There was a difference in the change in the environment of the school facility.
The urbon area was shown to be better in respects of health/sanitation facilities, water supply faciliy, library facility than any other area in relation to the environment of school educational facilities, but it was shown that there wete consideralble obsolescent facilities in other areas, and so existing facilities are needed to rebuild.
4. It was shown that more support was given to the urbon area than any other areas in the allocation of financial resources on school educational facilities.
It was shown that in relation to the phenomenon of unbalance between regions, there was a gap between regions as the urbon area had received intensive support for the expansion of the educational facility of the elementary school due to the gravitation of educational population towards urbon areas.
