구스타프클림트 작품을 응용한 네일 디자인 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 오스트리아의 상징주의 화가, 색의 마술사, 에로티시즘의 거장이라고 평가받는 구스타프클림트 (1862~1918) 작품의 특성을 분석하고 분석한 작품을 모티브로 응용 재해석하는 접근 방법으로 네일팁에 다양한 작품을 제작해 미술적 사고를 접목시키고자 한다. 구스타프클림트는 회화, 벽화, 스케치 등 많은 작품을 남겼으며, 여성의 신체를 작품의 주제로 표현하였고, 이를 토대로 회화 작품에 주로 표현되었던 신체적 특성을 NCS 색채 시스템을 통해 육안 측색하여 적용하였다. 이러한 방법으로 구스타프클림트 작품의 다양한 색채의 특성을 이용하여 네일 디자인을 UV젤, 아크릴, 핸드페인팅, 믹스미디어등 여러 기법을 적용해 인조 네일 팁과 아크릴, 스파츌라에 디자인 하고 네일 작품을 제안하기로 하였다. 구스타프클림트 작품에 나타난 기하학적 양식과 장식적인 배경, 대칭적인 구성, 금박과 은박의 조화를 이용하여 표현하였다. NCS 색채분석을 통하여 구스타프클림트의 작품에 표현되었던 색채들과 작품들을 응용하여 네일 디자인 작품10개를 제작하여 제안하였다.

본 논문의 심층연구를 통해 도출된 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 클림트 작품의 기하학적 형태와 아르누보 적인 표현기법은 네일 디자인에 모티브로 활용하기에 적합하도록 형태적인 특성을 작품 속에서 찾아낼수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 구스타프클림트 작품 속에 표현된 장식적인 배경과 대칭적인 구성은 네일 디자인으로 응용하여 풍부한 상상력과 다양하고 실용성이 높은 디자인으로 활용이 가능하였음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 작가의 무한한 예술적 작품에서 영감을 얻어 기존의 네일 디자인에서 탈피하여 새롭고 다양한 형태의 작품을 재구성하여 변화를 시도하였다. 넷째, 구스타프클림트의 다양한 작품들을 통해 예술적 가치를 고취시킴은 물론 여러 가지 네일 디자인 작품을 제작함으로써 디자인의 표현범위를 넓힐 수 있는 기회가 되었다. 다섯째, 사회적으로 불안정한 요즘의 세태를 고려하여 화려한 색감을 상징적으로 활용하여 밝고 화려한 느낌의 작품을 표현하고자 하였다. 구스타프클림트의 기하하적 패턴과 표현기법, 화려한 금색의 색채를 응용하여 네일 샵 에서도 고객들에게 특별한 디자인과 색상을 권유하고 단순히 그림에 국한되지 않도록 네일 디자인에 접목하게 하였다. 또한 예술 작품에 그치지 않고 일상적인 생활 속에서도 쉽게 접근되어 질 수 있도록 작품을 제작 고안 하였으며 본 연구를 통해 작가의 작품을 토대로 사회적 현상을 반영하여 네일 디자인에 응용하고자 하였으며, 또한 그 가치를 높일 수 있도록 지속적이고 체계적인 연구가 계속되어야 할 것으로 기대한다.|This research is an approach to analyze the artistic characteristics of Gustav KLIMT (1862 ~ 1918), who is considered to be an Austrian symbolist, a magician of color, and a master of eroticism, and to reint the works. Gustav KLIMT left behind many works such as paintings, murals, and sketches. and, He used the body of a woman to describe the theme of the piece, The physical characteristics expressed in the paintings were visually measured and applied using the NCS color system. In this way, using the various colors in Gustav KLIMT's work, The nail design will be applied with various techniques such as UV gel, acrylic, hand painting, and mixed media to design artificial nail tips, acrylic, and Sparky, and propose nail products. It was expressed using the geometric style and decorative background, symmetrical composition, and the combination of gold and silver leaf in Gustav KLIMT's work. Through NCS natual color system analysis, colors and works expressed in Gustav KLIMT's work were applied, and ten nail design pieces were proposed and produced.

The conclusions of the in-depth research of this thesis are as follows. First, Geometric Structure of KLIMT's Works and Art of Art Nouveau, I can see that it has design properties that can be used as a motive for nail design. Second, the decorative background and symmetrical composition expressed in Gustav KLIMT's work enabled rich imagination and a variety of design representations. Third, inspired by the artist's art work, I reconfigured various kinds of work away from traditional nail design. Fourth, it was an opportunity to increase artistic value through Gustav KLIMT's various works and to widen the scope of design by making various nail design pieces. Fifth, In view of the current social instability by using colorful colors as symbols I wanted to express his works with a bright and colorful feel. Gustav KLIMT's Geometric Patterns and Expression Techniques, Using colorful gold, The nail salon also recommends this design and color to its customers. and It is intended to be applied to nail design so that it is not limited to pictures. In addition, it was designed not only for works of art but also for easy access in everyday life. Through this research, nail design reflecting social phenomena was applied to the works of the author, and I hope that the research will continue to increase the value.
