敎師·學父母 및 兒童의 體罰觀에 대한 比較 硏究
- Abstract
- 1) Teachers, parents and students, all of them were positive about the need of physical punishment. However no one agreed with severe physical punishment, but still light punishment could be utilized at school.
2) Parents and students appealed arbitray punishment. Thus the result could be arguing pint between teachers and students, and teachers and parents. Thus teacher should clear the guidelne of punishment, but shouldn't execute physical punishment with temper.
3) In the method of physical punishment, regardless of teachers' career length, heating palms with ruler or stick was favored. However heating palms may result in physical damage of students. Thus there should be thought out way not to harm students' body.
4) With the view-point of physical punishment. generally motive was considered significantly, but parents and students also considered "Effect is more important than cause." This practically proves that still there remains such social tendency, emphasizing effect rather than cause and examination-result rather than study. Thus teachers should try to disclose cause, through analyzing overall behaviors which caused punishment.
5) For Dagree of Physical Punishment.
Parents and students insist that it should done lightly. Thus physical punishment in the school should be executed under strict guideline and still it shouldn't be exceed educational limit.
