公演藝術博物 記述要素 提案 및 適用事例에 관한 硏究

Abstract

공연예술에 대한 관심이 높아지고 그에 따라 공연예술이 활발히 이루어지면서 관련 기록도 많이 생산되었으며 그에 따라 공연예술기록의 체계적인 관리가 필요하다는 인식이 생겨났다. 그러나 현재 국내 공연예술기록관리 기관에서는 문헌자료와 시청각자료에 국한된 수집․정리․기술이 이루어지고 있으며 박물에 대한 관리는 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공연예술박물의 관리를 위한 기술요소를 연구하였다. 공연예술박물 기술요소 제안 및 적용사례를 위한 연구의 내용을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문헌연구와 사례조사를 병행하였으며 문헌연구를 통하여 공연예술박물의 유형을 소품류, 의상․장신구류, 모형류, 공연기기류, 홍보․기념류, 상장․상패류, 악기류, 기타로 구분하였다. 둘째, 국내 공연예술박물관리 기관의 공연예술박물 수집 및 기술현황을 조사하였다. 그 결과 조사한 두 기관 모두 공연예술기록을 서지 메타데이터나 기관 자체 내의 자료관리시스템에 의해 기술하고 있었으며, 공연예술박물의 물리적 특성이나 기록관리 이력, 맥락정보, 이용과 열람에 관한 기술요소가 부족하여 기록관리적 관점의 기술과는 거리가 있다. 또한 두 기관의 공연예술박물에 해당하는 기술요소는 상호 호환되지 않아 유관 기관 간에 공유할 수 없고 통합 관리 할 수 없는 문제가 있다. 셋째, 공연예술 관련 기술규칙인 CDWA를 기준으로 공연예술 및 박물 관련 기술규칙 VRA Core와 RAD를 비교․분석하였다. 이를 토대로 공연예술박물의 기술요소를 7개의 영역으로 구분하여 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 식별영역에는 표준번호, 유형, 목록계층, 표제 등의 기술요소를 제안하여 공연예술박물의 식별에 필요한 사항을 기술하도록 하였다. 배경영역은 창작, 생산기관연혁/생산자이력 요소를 제안하였으며, 창작 요소에 창작자, 출판자/배포자, 창작 장소, 출판지/배포지, 창작자 역할, 창작일자, 출판일/배포일 등의 하위요소를 제안하였다. 물리적 기술영역은 규모/치수, 재료/기법, 기타 물리적 특성 요소를 제안하였으며 모양, 크기, 재료 색상 요소를 하위요소로 제안하였다. 관리영역은 상태/검사이력, 보존/처리이력, 전시회/대관전시 이력, 목록이력, 평가/폐기/처리일정 정보 등의 기술요소를 제안하였다. 내용․구조영역은 분류체계, 적용/정리, 주제, 수상내역정보, 맥락/배경, 비평, 활용정보, 기술 주기 등의 기술요소를 제안하였으며 활용정보에 공연장소, 공연일자, 용도, 활용자/배역명, 활용장면을 하위요소로 제안하였다. 이용영역에는 현재 위치, 저작권/규제, 소유권/수집이력, 이용조건, 언어와 글자체, 검색어/색인어, 매체변환 여부 등의 요소를 제안하였다. 연관자료영역에는 상태 사항, 판 사항, 관련 작품, 관련자료, 관련 원문 참조 등의 요소를 제안하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서 제안한 공연예술박물 기술요소를 근거로 기술 적용사례를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 공연예술박물의 기술요소를 제안하고 적용사례를 제시하는데 중점을 두었으며 이렇게 제안된 공연예술박물의 기술요소 및 적용사례는 향후 공연예술기록관리 기관에서 박물류의 기술규칙을 설정하고 적용하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

|As the interest in performing arts is raised and accordingly, performing arts are actively made, related records have been produced a lot and the awareness of systematic management for the performing arts record was formed. However, currently the domestic performing arts record managing institutions take operations for collection, arrangement and description limited to literature and audio-visual materials and the management for objects is not sufficient. In this connection, this study examined the description elements for the performing arts object managements. Below are the contents of the study for description element suggestions and applications of the performing arts objects. First, literature study and case investigation were made simultaneously and through literature study, the types of the performing arts objects were divided into properties, costume․accessories, models, performing arts instruments, public relations․commemorations, testimonials․medals, musical instruments and the like. Second, the performing arts object collection and description state of the domestic performing arts record managing institutions were investigated. As a result, the investigated two institutions all describe performing arts records by the bibliographic metadata or internal data management system of the institutions and the description elements for Physical Characteristics, record History, context, use & Access of the performing arts objects were insufficient to have some difference in the description in the viewpoint of description management. Furthermore, the description elements corresponding to the performing arts objects of the two institutions are not compatible to each other so that it has a problem in that they cannot be shared by related institutions or managed integratively. Third, based on CDWA of performing arts related Standard Archival Description, VRA Core and RAD of performing arts and object related description elements were compared and analyzed. Based on this, the description elements of the performing arts objects were divided into 7 areas to suggest as below. It shows describing elements for identifying of Performing Arts Object, suggesting to Standard number, Type, Catalog Level, Title in identity statement area. It suggests elements of Creation, Administrative/Biographical History in context area. The sub-elements are recommended with Creator, Name of Publisher/Distributor, Place of Creation, Place of Publication/Distribution, Creator Role, Dates of creation, Date of publication, distribution and etc. It suggests several elements in physical description area. They are Measurement, Materials and Techniques, Physical Characteristics. The sub-elements are Shape, Size, Material Color. It suggests description elements in management area with Condition/Examination History, Conservation/Treatment History, Exhibition/Loan History, Cataloging History, Appraisal, destruction and scheduling information. Several elements sets in content and structure area. They include Classification, Orientation/Arrangement, Subject Matter, Awards Information, Context, Critical Responses, Practical Use, Descriptive Note. It has sub-elements in term of using information. They are Place of Performance, Dates of Performance, Use, Employer/Cast, Scene. It suggests elements in using area with Current Location, Copyright/Restrictions, Ownership/Collecting History, Rights, Language/Scripts of Material, Keyword/Index Terms, Media Conversion. The last parts of elements are allied Materials area. It includes State, Edition, Related Works, Related Item, Related Textual References. Finally, based on the description elements of the performing arts objects suggested by this study, description applications were provided. This study focused on offering the suggestions and applications of the description elements of the performing arts objects and it is expected that these suggested description elements and applications of the performing arts objects can be utilized in the future for basic data to establish and apply the standard archival description of objects in the performing arts record managing institutions.
