靑少年의 인터넷 活用實態에 관한 硏究
- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to figure out the utilization of Internet system between the students who live in an Il-san new town and the one who live in an old town, in order to examine whether the information provided through the Internet is suitable to the educational purpose or aims or not. Secondly, this study examines whether there is any differences between two groups described above in the utilization of Internet system. This study is based on the research of the thesises and the questionnaire sheets for the reality. For this study, I took an accurate measurement of the questionnaire about the utilization of Internet, and asked some students who lived in each places. And I used SpssWin program for the analysis.
As a result of this study, I could lead to the following conclusion:
First, there is a significant difference of the means between two students' groups. It means every student needs their own personal computer. So it is necessary that supporting programs which help to purchase a computer without a burden should be developed at the level of school education to solve such a problem.
Second, the computer education program should be reinforced for the parents. Even though the number of students using computer has been increased steadily, parents are far behind in terms of understanding and using computer systems, which makes it very difficult to lead their children to the right way in using Internet at home. Therefore, the computer education system for the parents must be established at the school level.
Third, investment on computer related education system at the school level should be increased. In fact, most of the students learn computer related education in private institute, not in school. So we need more computer classes in school and to set up various curriculums about the computer after school.
Fourth, It is necessary to teach the students to use the computer and Internet in educational purpose. Most of the students used the computer only for games and entertainments, so (we change the purpose of computer utilization through the school curriculum for the students.) the guidance for he best way to use computer must be made at the school level.
Fifth, The software for education has to be developed much more. Softwares for education that was developed up to now is not sufficient. It is limited. And it has many insufficient points to induce intellectual curiosity of students. Therefore, various programs must be developed that may be utilized by various educational purposes.
