헤어스타일 이미지 구현을 위한 방법론에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구에서는 이마이의 '이미지 구성 시스템'과 JFAI의 '어울림의 법칙'에 의한 헤어스타일 이미지 구현 방법론에 대해 고찰하고, 실제로 20∼30대 4명의 여성을 대상으로 두 가지 방법론에 의한 진단과정에 의하여 이미지를 진단하고 그에 맞는 헤어스타일을 구현해봄으로써 헤어스타일 이미지 구현에 있어 두 가지 방법이 유용한 지를 밝히는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 헤어스타일 이미지 구현을 위한 방법론에는 패션경향과 내면적인 성격특성 그리고 골격 및 이목구비 등 외면을 파악하여 이미지를 진단하고 그 이미지에 맞는 헤어스타일을 제시한 이마이의 '이미지 구성 시스템'과 인물과 헤어스타일의 부분적인 항목이 윔계, 중간, 쿨계 또는 소프트계, 중간, 하드계에 속하는지를 파악하여 각각의 이미지를 진단하는 JFAI의 '어울림의 법칙'이 있다. 둘째, 이마이의 '이미지 구성 시스템'과 JFAI의 '어울림 법칙'의 특징을 비교 분석하면 다음과 같다. 이미지를 진단하는데 있어 '이미지 구성 시스템'은 내면분석과 외면분석에 의해 이미지를 결정하는 반면 '어울림의 법칙'은 외면분석에 의해서만 이미지를 결정한다. 외면분석에 있어 '이미지 구성 시스템'은 골격 및 이목구비 등의 겉모습에서 오는 인상으로 소프트계와 하드계로 간단하게 외면분석을 하는 반면 '어울림 법칙'은 헤어스타일과 인물을 각각 16항목으로 세부적으로 분석하여 절차가 많지만 비교적 객관적인 이미지 진단이 가능하다. 기술 부분에서 '이미지 구성 시스템'은 4가지 헤어스타일 이미지를 나타내는 헤어커트와 헤어칼라를 제시하고 있어 이미지를 구현하는데 용이하다. '어울림 법칙'은 헤어스타일의 이미지와 인물 이미지가 동떨어진 경우, 헤어스타일의 항목에서 어느 부분을 어떻게 바꿔야 인물의 이미지에 어울리게 되는지를 구체적으로 알 수 있다. 셋째, 이마이의 '이미지 구성 시스템'과 JFAI의 '어울림 법칙'에 의한 본 연구자의 사례연구를 통하여 다음과 같은 두 방법론의 유용성을 알 수 있었다. '이미지 구성시스템'은 선호하는 패션이미지와 자주 보는 패션잡지, 좋아하는 옷의 형태와 색 그리고 화법과 감정표현 방법 등의 내면적인 면과 외면적인 골격, 이목구비, 얼굴 겉모습 그리고 꾸밈에서 느껴지는 인상을 파악하여 내면과 외면이 겹치는 부분으로 이미지를 진단하는 방법이므로 내면과 외면이 잘 조화된 이미지가 되어 이상적인 방법이다. 특히 자신이 원하는 헤어스타일을 반영하기 때문에 고객의 만족도를 높일 수 있다. 또한 이미지에 맞는 헤어스타일의 형태나 칼라가 제시되어 있으므로 헤어스타일을 디자인하는데 있어 지침이 되는 자료로서 유용하다. '어울림의 법칙'은 헤어스타일의 여러 가지 특성 즉 헤어의 색상, 정면, 측면 그리고 후면에서 본 헤어스타일의 실루엣, 모발과 모질의 상태 및 질감 등과 인물의 여러 가지 특성 즉 얼굴 색, 얼굴 윤곽, 눈과 눈 사이의 거리, 눈썹과 아이 라인, 코의 높이와 크기 및 인체 프로포션 등의 다양하고 구체적인 여러 가지 요소의 특성을 종합적으로 평가하기 때문에 이미지 진단 결과에 대한 신뢰도를 높이며, 이미지의 오진단을 최소화 할 수 있는 방법이다. 또한 헤어스타일의 이미지가 인물의 이미지와는 다를 경우, 인물의 이미지와 동일하게 하기 위해서는 구체적으로 헤어스타일의 어느 부분을 어떻게 변화시켜야 할지를 알 수 있으므로 헤어디자이너가 헤어스타일을 디자인하는데 있어 쉽게 접근할 수 있다. 특히 '어울림의 법칙'은 좌표값의 위치로 이미지를 제시하여 추상적인 이미지의 개념을 구체화시켜 이해하기 쉽다. 대부분의 이미지 진단 방법은 이미지를 진단하는데 있어 기준이 명시되어 있지 않아 주관적이고 감정적으로 진단하거나 서로 다른 기준과 몇가지 요소만을 고려하여 진단하는 사람에 따라 이미지가 다르게 진단될 가능성이 있었다. 그러나 이 두가지 방법론은 객관적인 평가 기준을 가지고 있어 이미지 진단 결과가 비교적 일정하고 정확하다는 점이다. 두 방법론에 의한 이미지 진단으로 모델들은 자신의 이미지를 정확히 알 수 있었고 자신의 이미지와 맞는 변화된 헤어스타일에 대해 만족하였다. 이는 자신의 외모에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 갖게 될 것이다. 결국 고객은 자신의 헤어스타일에 대한 만족도가 높아짐으로써 시술한 디자이너와 살롱을 재방문하게 될 것이고 디자이너와 살롱은 단골고객을 확보할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 이와 같이 두 방법론은 헤어디자이너와 헤어 살롱에게 유용한 방법임을 알 수 있다.|Investigating on methodology for realizing hair- style image by ‘Image compose system’ of Imaii and ‘Matching law’ of JFAI, this thesis aims at verification if the two method is useful in realizing hair-style image by diagnosing image with process of diagnosis by the two methodology practically and realizing hairstyle being suitable for it. The results of this study can be summarized as the following. First, there are ‘Image compose system’ of Imaii that grasps inclination about fashion, inside character peculiarity and outward appearance such as frame and ear, eye, mouth, and nose, diagnose image and suggests hairstyle suitable to the image, and ‘Matching law’ of JFAI that grasps partial items of face and hairstyle that belongs to which among warm, medium and cool or soft, medium and hard and diagnose each image in methodology for realizing hair-style image. Second, the result of the characteristics of ‘Image compose system’ of Imaii and ‘Matching law’ of JFAI compared and analysed is the following. In diagnosing image, while ‘Image compose system’ decides image by inside analysis and outside analysis, ‘Matching law’ decides image by only outside analysis. In outside analysis, while ‘Image compose system’ analyze the outside into soft and sharp simply by impression from outward appearance such as frame and ear, eye, mouth, and nose etc. ‘Matching law’ can make it possible to objectively diagnose image comparatively for analyzing hairstyle and facial appearance into sixteen items in detail, although it has many procedures. In technique section, ‘Image compose system’ can make it possible to diagnose and realize image easily because it presents haircut and haircolor which symbolize the four hair-style image, ‘Matching law’ can make it possible to know concretely how to alter which part from hair-style items and suit for figure image in case hair-style and figure image are apart. Third, we know usefulness like the following, through this investigator studying the case on methodology for realizing hair-style image by ‘Image compose system’ of Imaii and ‘Matching law’ of JFAI. ‘Image compose system’ is a ideal method in that because it diagnoses image by the overlapped part of the inside and the outside with grasping the inside such as preferring fashion image and fashion magazine, the liking shape in dress and color and method of talk and emotion etc. and the outside such as skeleton, ear, eye, mouth, and nose, outside appearance of face, the image that consists of the inside and the outside harmonized well becomes. First of all, because it can reflect the image the client wants, it can increase the client’s satisfaction. Also it is useful as data of a guide in designing hairstyle because it present the shape or color of hairstyle being suitable to image. ‘Matching law’ is the method that it enables the hairdesigner to have clients have high trust and minimize diagnosing the image by mistake because it evaluate various concrete characteristics synthetically such as various characteristics of hair style, in other words, the color of hair, the silhouette of hair style seen from the front, the side and the back, the condition and the texture of hair etc. and such as various characteristics of figure, that is, the color of face, the distance between the eyes, eyebrow and eyeline, the height and size of nose and the proportion of body etc.. Also in the case that the image of hairstyle and figure is different, because it enables hairdesigner to know how to change which part of hairstyle to make the image of the hairstyle be suitable to that of the figure well, hairdesigner can approach easily in realizing hairstyle. Above all, according as it have the concept of abstract image be concrete by presenting image by the position of the count of coordinates, hairdesigner can understand it easily. Because the method of most image diagnosis haven’t had clarified standard for diagnosing image, there is the possibility that image have been diagnosed differently according to people who diagnose image different standard and a few important factors. But because the two methodology has the standard of objective valuation, the result of diagnosing image is uniform and precise. By image diagnosis with the two methodology, models know their image exactly and is satisfied with hairstyle suitable to their image. as the result of this, they will have affirmative attitude about their appearance. after of all, because clients have high satisfaction of their hairstyle and will visit the designer and the hairsalon again, the designer and the hairsalon will secure regular customers. Like this we know that the two methodology is useful to hairdesigner and hairsalon.
