造船業 勤勞者의 多面的 人性檢査(MMPI)척도와 安全保健指數와의 相關性 硏究

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between MMPI(Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) scale and Safety & Health related index in the shipbuilding workmen. Subjects were 230 applicants for personnel selection of shipbuilding company, and their records related with Safety & Health performance have been administered. T-test and one-way ANOVA were used for data analysis and the following results were obtained; (1) applicants for personnel selection intended to show the positive characteristics of personality, this attitude reflected a decrease on T-scores of MMPI; (2) there were significant relationships between some MMPI subscales and Safety & Health related indices. These results can be used to provide baseline information for more effective accident prevention programs.
