韓國 傳統 韓果의 色彩·言語 이미지 분석에 關한 硏究

Abstract

본 연구는 한국 전통 한과에 대한 언어 이미지 분석과 색채 이미지 분석을 하고 이에 따른 색상과 언어 이미지를 정량화된 측정치로 제시할 수 있는 시각적 접근 방법으로 분석해 보고자한다. 한과는 우리 나라의 전통 과자로 한과에 나타나 있는 색상은 한국인의 전통 색채를 표현하고 있다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 한과를 기본 대상으로 삼아 한과의 색상과 우리의 전통 색채 그리고 그 색채와의 의미의 관계를 살펴보고, 한과와 곁들여서 사용되는 과반·다과상을 시각적 분석방법에 의해 언어 이미지스케일과 색채 이미지스케일로 도표화 시켜보았다. 그 결과 나타난 분석은 다음과 같다. ① 한과의 전체 색상(Hue)은 노란색 Y, 주황색 YR, 빨강색 R, 자주색 RP, 보라색 P, 남색 PB, 연두색 GY, 백색 W, 흑색 S 등의 다양한 색상을 보였다. 전체적인 한과 색채 이미지스케일은 S/H 좌측에 널리퍼져있고, 언어 이미지로는 Casual·Natural 로 나타날 수 있다. 무채색의 경우에는 백색 (W=N9.5)을 사용한 예가 검은색(S=N1) 보다 많아, 우리나라 사람들의 백색 선호사상을 알 수 있었으며, 톤(Tone)에 있어서의 색채 이미지와 언어 이미지가 거의 일치함을 확인할 수 있었다. ② 음양오행사상에 근거를 둔 오방색(적-R, 청-G, 황-Y, 백-W, 흑-S)위주로 사용된 한과의 색채를 살펴보면 오색다식과 오색강정을 들수있는데 이것은 오방색을 선호한 한과에 액센트를 주고, 미각과 시각을 돋우는 데에도 적지않는 역할을 하였다. ③ 한과를 내어놓은 과반/다과상에 나타난 색채 이미지스케일은 S/H 좌측에 위치하고, 언어 이미지로는 Casual / Dandy 로 나타난다. 이것은 한과와도 잘 어울리는 색채와 언어 이미지를 가지고 있다. 이와 같은 결과는 그 동안 우리나라의 과자와 과반·다과상에 대해 막연하게 생각했던 이미지에 대하여 객관적이며 정량화된 기준의 척도치를 마련해 주는 것이라고 본다. 이러한 분석 결과가 한과와 연결되는 모든 분야에서 응용될 수 있을 것이다.|In this study, word and color images of Korean traditional confectionery were analyzed qualitatively with the aid of visual sensibility engineering. Since the colors of Korean traditional confectionery express the traditional colors of Korean people, this research was focused on the colors of Korean traditional confectionery, Korean traditional colors and the relation between those colors and their meanings. Then, Korean traditional tray an tea table were analyzed with using the diagram of word and color image scales in the visual analysis method of sensibility engineering. The results are summarized as follows: ① The overall hue of Korean traditional confectionery consists of various colors of Yellow, Yellowred, Red Redpurple, Purpleblue, Greenyellow, White, and Black etc. The overall color image scale of Korean traditional confectionery is wide spread to the left of S/H, and its word image is expressed with Casual·Nature image. In the case of achromatic colors, white (W=N9.5) were used more abundantly than black (S=N1), which indicates Korean preferences to white color. As for the tone, it was found that the color images are consistent with word images. ② When the colors of Korean traditional confectionery using mainly Obang colors (Red, Green, Yellow, White, and Black), which are based on the principles of yin and yang, Osaekdasik and Osaekgangjeong, which gave an accent to Korean traditional confectionery, suggest that Obang colors play an important role in stimulating the senses of taste and sight. ③ The color image scale expressed in Korean traditional tray and tea table which are used for serving Korean traditional confectionery is the left of S/H, and its key work is the Casual / Dandy word image, which is well matched with the circular image of the tea and cake table. This also has the color and word image that is well matched with Korean traditional confectionery. The results in this study presented a tools for the evaluation of a measure with an objective image of our traditional confectionery and Korean tray & tea table. This criterion can be applied to all the fields to which Korean traditional confectionery is connected.
