한국어 말하기 활동의 의사소통 기능 연구

Abstract

본고는 한국어 중급 단계 교재의 말하기 과제 활동에서 다루는 의사소통 기능을 분석하여 그 문제점을 논의하고, 중급 단계 말하기 영역에 적절한 의사소통 기능 항목을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 최근 한국어교육에서 의사소통 중심 교수법이 자리 잡고, 이에 따라 기능과 과제 및 문법을 통합한 교수요목으로 교육 내용을 구성한 교재를 개발하였다. 그런데 이 교재들의 의사소통 기능 분류는 모호하고 체계적이지 못한 문제점이 있다. 그것은 의사소통 기능을 문법 항목의 문법적 의미, 과제 활동과 구별하지 못하였기 때문이다. 의사소통은 의사소통 참여자의 생각이나 뜻이 서로 통함을 의미한다. 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기 네 가지 의사소통 방법 중 말하기 기술은 의사소통할 때 가장 많이 사용하고 학습자가 학습의 필요성을 가장 크게 느끼는 부분이다. 초급에서의 말하기 교육은 상황에 맞게 문법 항목을 잘 사용하는 데 중점을 두고 있으며, 중·고급으로 갈수록 의사소통 상황에 적절한 언어 구사 능력 신장을 목표로 한다. 본고는 본격적인 의사소통 중심 말하기 활동을 학습하는 중급 단계 말하기 영역을 대상으로 하여 의사소통 기능에 대한 검토를 하였다. 본고는 이론적 배경으로 ‘개념-기능 교수요목’과 화행 이론을 바탕으로 의사소통 기능을 살펴보았다. 이에 따라 의사소통 기능이란 화행 이론에서의 화행 개념과 동일하다는 것을 제시하였다. 그리고 한국어 중급 단계는 어떠한 목표와 교수 내용을 가지고 있는지에 대해 살펴보고 중급 단계의 특징을 제시하였다. 3장에서는 교재의 교수요목에서 제시된 기능과 실제 말하기 활동에서 다루는 화행의 의사소통 기능을 비교 분석함으로써 한국어 교재의 기능은 문법, 기능, 과제의 개념이 혼재되어 있고 영역별 기능을 구분하여 제시하지 않았다는 문제점과 중급 말하기 기능은 체계적이지 않다는 점을 지적하였다. 한국어교육에서 기능은 화행 이론에 근거한 의사소통 기능이어야 함으로 이에 따른 기능을 제안하였다. 4장에서는 중급 단계 언어 학습에 초점을 맞추어 중급 단계 말하기 기능 선정 원리를 설정하고 3장에서 논의한 말하기 의사소통 기능 분석 결과와 함께 검토하여 중급 말하기 기능 항목을 선정하였다. 본고에서 논의하는 의사소통 기능은 화행 이론에 근거하고 있다. 본고는 실제 말하기 활동에서 다루는 의사소통 기능을 설정하여, 선행 연구의 문제점을 지적하고 그 개선 방안을 제안하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 본고에서 설정한 중급 말하기 의사소통 기능 항목은 앞으로 한국어 교수요목 설정과 교재 개발에 참고 자료로 활용될 수 있고 한국어교육에서 화행의 등급화를 논의하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.|The purpose of this study is that we discuss the problem of communicative function of the Korean speaking task in the intermediate level teaching material and present the proper communicative function contents of the intermediate level speaking. Recently, in the main stream of the Korean education, it is focused on communicative language teaching; therefore they develop the education materials including the syllabus which combines the function, task and grammar. However these materials have the problems that their classification of communicative function is obscure and non-systematic. It is because of that they don’t define the communicative function with the grammatical meaning of grammar contents and task activity. The communication signifies that they understand thinking and meaning of others. Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing, among those 4 communicative skills, Speaking is the mostly using and demanding skill in terms of the learner’s study needs. Speaking education in the beginner level, they target the improvement of the ability of a command of language with proper grammar content in an appropriate situation. This study reviews about the communicative function that they learn in earnest the speaking activity focusing on communication in the intermediate level of speaking. In this study, we examine the communicative function with the theoretical background on the basis of “Notional-Function Syllabus” and Speech-Act theory. Therefore we propose that the communicative function is considered same as Speech-Act in the Speech-Act theory. And we study of the object and teaching method of the intermediate level of Korean and present the feature of the intermediate level. In Chapter 3, we present the problems that the function of Korean teaching material is complicatedly mixed with grammar, function and task and the function of the intermediate level of speaking is non-systematic, using the comparison and analysis of the Speech-Act communicative function in the practical speaking activity and the function which presenting in the syllabus of the teaching material. We propose the function accordingly that the communicative function in Korean education; it shall be based on the Speech-Act theory. In Chapter 4, we set up the selection principle of the intermediate level of speaking function which focusing on language education of the intermediate level and choose the content of the intermediate level of speaking function reviewed with the analysis result of the communication function of speaking which discussed in Chapter 3. The communicative function in this study is based on the Speech-Act theory. This study is significant that it is indicating the problem of existing study and proposing the solution by setting up the communicative function in real practical speaking activity. The contents of communication function of the intermediate level of speaking in this study; they can be utilized for the reference to develop Korean teaching materials and syllabus and can be great help to discuss for the classification of the Speech-Act in Korean education.| 本文的研究目的在于对韩国语中级教材的说话活动中使用的交际功能进行分析并对其存在的问题进行论述之后，提出适合于中级说话技能的交际功能项目。 最近，交际语言教学在韩国语教育中占据了一定的地位。使用“功能”、“任务”以及“语法”合并的大纲来构成教育内容的教材也随之开发。但是这些教材的交际功能的分类存在着模糊并且不具备系统性的问题。这是因为“交际功能”和“语法项目的语法意义”、“任务型活动”没有区别开而造成的。 交际是指交流想法与意见的过程。说、听、读、写四种交际方式中说话技能是交际中最多被使用，学习者认为学习的必要性最大的部分。初级阶段的说话教育是把重点放在根据语言环境适当的运用语法项目上，到中高级阶段的目标是培养与交际环境相符的适当的语言造词能力。本文以中级阶段的说话机能为对象对交际功能进行了研究。 在理论背景中对"意念-功能"大纲和语言行为理论为基础交际功能进行了审视。通过审视指出了交际功能是与语言行为理论中的语言行为概念相统一的。并且对中级阶段所具备的目标及教授内容审查后指出了中级阶段的特征。 第3章通过对教材大纲中的功能和实际说话活动中使用的言语行为的交际功能比较分析指出了韩国语教材的功能所存在的问题。即语法、功能、任务的概念混乱和各个领域的功能没有区别开指出的问题以及中级说话技能的功能不具备系统性的问题。接着指出了韩国语教育中的功能是以语言行为理论为根本的交际功能。 第4章以中级阶段的语言学习为出发点，设定中级阶段说话技能的功能选定原理以及第3章中对说话技能的交际功能的分析结果综合讨论 根据讨论结果选定中级阶段的说话技能的功能项目。 本文研究的交际功能是以语言行为论为根据的。实际说话活动中使用的交际功能选定先行研究的问题指出和其改善方案具有一定的意义。并且选定的中级阶段的交际功能项目对以后韩国语大纲设定和教材开发方面可以作为参考资料使用，韩国语教育的语言行为的等级化的研讨具有一定的帮助。
