學校長의 意思決定 行態와 敎務協議 方法 改善에 관한 硏究
- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to show some rational direction of decision-making by catching the fact of principal's decision-making attitude and school administration consulting method and making sure of their problems.
First, Most of decision-making are done by principal himself, and teachers' opinions are generally rejected. In order to make better of there phenomena, teachers' participating degree should be heightend. In this point principal should change his opinion by giving up his authoritarian attitude for respect to majority opinion in order to get to ratinal decision-making.
Second, teachers' participating boundary for school management is very much limited in the course of decision-making so that their opinion is not reflected much to school management.
This situation is more apposently showed more in junior teacher than senior ones and more in teacher with short teaching career than ones with long career. In order to heigher teachers' mordles and make positive of teaching activities teachers' self-control and specialization should be urgently leveled up.
Third, there are much differences between teacers' opinions by age, position and career about principal's decision-making attitude and school management situation. As this can be some negotive factors for educatinal goal and organizations health, principal should equally raise teachers' self-participation in the course of decsition-making.
Fourth, most of consulting organizations including school adminisration consulting meeting have been managed not for their original function but just for principal's order or message. This makes teachers lose good chances to express their constructive opinions which results in distrust to principal's management method of school.
In order to cange the simple role of transfering principal's order or message to actual consulting organization, both princicpal's effort and systematic supplement plan should be studied in the future.
Fifth, as for school administration meeting for teachers to take part in the course of decision-making. Teachers prefer various meeetings to guarantee that expansion of participating chances and free and detailed discussion are possible. According to school specialty, this organization should be expanded, its fandamental management should be strengthened, anti-function of school administration meeting should be supplemented and teachers' ideas should be induced in collection.
In order to get to there goals, not only principal but also teachers should show their positive attitude and effort without any intervals.
