티타임 청공도

Abstract

우리 삶과 밀접하게 닿아 있으면서도 끊임없이 변화하는 존재를 탐구하다 ‘물’ 에 주목하게 되었다. 물은 시공간의 제약 없이 어우러져 다양한 모습으로 존재하고 있다. 물은 형태도, 목적도 없이 흐르지만 무한히 순환하며 천공과 바다를 이루고 생명이 있는 삶에 꼭 필요한 존재가 된다. 물의 이러한 점은 우리가 살아가면서 겪는 다양한 경험들이 모여 ‘나’를 이루게 되는 모습과 같다고 여겨졌고, 그래서 물을 주제로 한 작업을 시도해 보고 싶어졌다. 수많은 물의 모습 중에서도 ‘차’를 주제로 한 작업을 하고자 한다. 주로 찻자리, 즉 ‘티타임’의 내용을 다룰 예정인데, 물이 간접적인 것이 아닌 직접적인 주체가 되는 의식 중 하나이기 때문이다. 연구작은 전공분야 중 한 장르인 ‘청공도(청상도,청완도)’의 형식으로 진행할 예정이다. 먼저 청공도의 발원이 되는 시대적 배경을 살펴보고, 청공도에서 발전된 ‘문방청공도, 문방도, 기명절지도’의 내용과 중심 소재 기물들간의 도상적 차이점과 의미를 알아볼 것이다. 이를 토대로 본인의 작업에 반영하여 작업해보고자 한다. 청공도는 명 말 사대부들의 문인문화에서 발생된 것으로 문인들이 수집하고 완상하던 여러 기물을 화제로 한 그림이다. 서재의 풍경과 함께 완상하는 기물을 담아내던 것에서 소재가 분화되며 그려내는 기물과 형식에 따라 문방청공도, 문방도, 기 명절지도로 나뉘어 발전하였다. 책장을 보면 그 사람을 알 수 있다는 말처럼 청공도는 그려진 기물이 각기 의미하는 바는 다르지만 이를 통해 해당 기물을 가진 소유자의 높은 안목과 문화 수준, 학식 등을 보여주고자 했다는 점과 청공품들을 통한 심신수양을 목적으로 하는 공통점이 있다. 청공도에 그려진 기물들은 수집벽과 탐욕의 상징처럼 보이기도 하지만, 본래 문인화에서 온 것으로 문인들이 청완품들을 수집하여 완상하는 목적에는 그 기물을 통해 정신적인 수양을 하는 데 있다. 본인은 이 부분에 주목하여 청공도를 감상하고, 창작작업에서 활용하고자 한다. 또한 청공도의 다양한 형태인 문방도와 기명절지도 작품들을 보며 다양한 기물들을 어떻게 조합하여 배치하는가에 따라 관람자에게 보여줄 수 있는 바가 달라질 수 있다는 생각이 들었다. 본인의 작업에서는 문인들의 완상물처럼 목적의미를 담은 기물들을 배치하여 여러 순간들이 모여 현재의 모습이 되었으며, 따라서 작은 순간도 소중하다는 것을 말하고자 한다.|While exploring beings that are in close contact with our lives but constantly changing, I came to pay attention to 'water'. Water harmonizes without time and space constraints and exists in various forms. Water flows without form or purpose, but it circulates endlessly, forms perforation and sea, and becomes an essential entity in a life with life. This point of water was considered to be the same as the various experiences we experience in our lives coming together to achieve "who I am," so I wanted to try water-themed work. Among the numerous aspects of water, I would like to work on the theme of Tea. Because water is one of the rituals to become a direct subject, not indirectly, it mainly deals with the contents of the tea party, that is, 'tea time'. The research work is be conducted in the form of ‘Cheong-gong painting’ (Painting of Utensils and Antiquities for mental training ; Cheong-sang painting, Cheong-wan painting), one of the major genres. First, we are look at the background of the times that are the origin of Cheong-gong(Cheongwan : Pure Enjoyment of Scholars’ Accoutrements)painting Island, and examine the contents of the "Mungbang-cheonggong -painting Island, Munbang(A scholar’s Stationery) painting Island, and Gimyeong-jeolji painting(paintings of precious vessels with flowering plants and/or fruits) Island" developed in Cheong-gong painting Island, and the differences and meanings of the figures between the central materials. Based on this, I would like to reflect it in my work and work. Cheong-gong painting Island was originated from the literary culture of the prestigious noblemen and is a painting of various objects collected and completed by writers. The materials were differentiated from the objects that were completely enshrined along with the scenery of the study, and according to the objects and forms drawn, they were divided into Munbang-cheonggong painting Island, Munbang painting Island, and Gimyeong-jeolji painting Island. Cheong-gong painting Island has something in common for the purpose of cultivating the mind and body through blue crafts, as it says by looking at the bookshelf, although the objects on it have different meanings. The objects painted on Cheong-gong painting Island look like symbols of collection walls and greed, but originally from literary paintings, and the purpose of collecting and comforting Cheong-wan products is to cultivate the spirit through them. I could pay attention to this part, appreciate Cheong-gong painting Island, and use it in creative work. In addition, while looking at the works of various forms of Cheong-gong painting Island, Munbang painting Island and Gimyeong-jeolji painting Island, I thought that what I could show the viewers could vary depending on how various objects were combined and arranged. In my work, I would like to say that objects containing the meaning of purpose, such as the finished objects of writers, gathered several moments to become the present appearance, and that even small moments are precious.
