- Abstract
- Patent information plays very important role in the company's research process management as well as result of the research itself. When the company's research process is classified into research planning and conducting R & D, patent information make a direct contribution from research planning to the result of R & D, the whole research process, by providing adequate informations.
As patent information system provides useful intelligence to research planning or R & D itself, the system also can be strengthened by acquiring knowledges from those projects. This will make a virtuous circle of company's whole information related systems.
The objective of this study is to identify necessary patent information-related factors for researchers by empirical analysis of previous studies on quality of patent information service, customer satisfaction, and behavioral intentions, and to emphasize how important it is to them.
In addition, the result of this study will efficiently help to establish business strategy for patent information service companies.
