初等學校 特技.敵性 敎育活動의 運營 實態와 그 改善에 관한 硏究 :
- Abstract
- This study was intended to make a comprehensive diagnosis of the actual condition and problem of specialty/aptitude education in elementary school and probe its improvement scheme.
For this purpose, the following study questions were set :
First, how do students, teachers and parents perceive the purpose of specialty/aptitude education activity and the criterion for choice of the subject to take lectures in?
Second, how do students, teachers and parents perceive the burden of private educational expenses for specialty/aptitude education activity and its content.
Third, how students, teachers and parents perceive the problem of specialty/aptitude education activity and the improvement of its program.
Fourth, does specialty/aptitude education activity satisfy students' interests and needs?
As a result, the following conclusion was drawn :
All of students, teachers and parents perceived that the activity of specialty/aptitude education would bring much improvement to the development of specialty and aptitude. Students were found to attend computer and English classes as the extracurricular activity in which they took lectures. Seeing that they had a preference for professional instructors as instructor, it is necessary to provide for the scheme for intensive operation of the field which students prefer such as the computer, English and the like by the invitation of professional instructors in operating the specialty/aptitude education program.
Second, all of students, teachers and parents showed the degree of satisfaction with the reduced burden of private educational expenses and an understanding of the content of education in relation to specialty/aptitude education activity. There was a difference in the view of those subjects on the burden of private educational expenses between teachers and parents. Therefore, it is desirable that government should lend financial support to the activity of specialty/aptitude education to some extent after accommodating parents' opinions.
Third, seeing that there is a difference in the degree of preference for the content of specialty/aptitude education between students, teachers and parents, it is desirable that students, consumers of the specialty/aptitude education program, should be allowed to take lectures in the fields they hope through the publicity of the content of education.
It is necessary to make reasonable adjustment for the content of common interests between parents and students.
Fourth, respondents said that the specialty/aptitude education program currently in operation has been comparatively activated in the survey research into the improvement of the specialty/aptitude education program. As for the field to be improved, students pointed out the diversification of educational contents, teachers pointed out the choice of instructors, and parents pointed out the level of educational contents. Accordingly, in-depth efforts should be made to consider the reasonable way to select instructors, diversify educational contents and improve their level.
Fifth, students felt very satisfied with the degree of satisfaction with the specialty/aptitude education activity program. Accordingly, it is necessary to take an institutional measure to supplement and deepen the contents of the specialty/aptitude education activity program currently in operation. And it is necessary to diversify and differentiate the content and program of specialty/aptitude education program considering the gender of students, local specificity and the like.
