初等敎師 現職硏修制度의 改善方向에 관한 硏究
- Abstract
- The Purpose of this study is to promote the teacher's specialized qualification, to search the direction for which the in-service traning system should head, and further to suggest the plan for the Improvement in the In-service training system.
The study is divided two parts. The one part consists of the literature research conceptualizing the in-service teacher training system. The other part consist of the survey to actual in-service training condition of the primary school with questionnaire.
The results of the study are as follows:
First, There is a need for the overall research in order to develop the content and teaching materials considering those that the internal motivation, not the external motivation, will lead the training successful and there are request on the new skill for teaching according to the training content.
Second, We should provide the objective and valid synthetic evaluation criteria for the rationale and fairness of the evaluation with examinations, task, group discussion, and attendance ratio, we should improve the teaching method creatively apart from the routine teaching style.
Third, Although there are such positive factors as the promtion of teacher's speciality and literature, the power for leading students and the encouragement to the sense of mission for education, there should be the improvement on the training operation system considering the negative factors, we should provide teachers with social and economical incentives which guarantee absorbing in their job and exclude the factors causing them degrade the in-service training.
Fourth, We should provide the enough opportunity for trainings for the promotion of teaching speciality and at the same time try to convert into the credit system of the courses. And we should privide teachers with proper compensations in cases of the individual in-service and in-service in their school for themselves and establish the model for the in-service training which would continue to teaching in the classroom.
Fifth, We should establish such agency as a teacher's center performing the specialized activities for the in-service training and develop the various types of in-service training through the broadcasting such like which would be incentives for voluntary participation in the traning . And we should enlarge the opportunity for the abroad in-service training to promote the quality of instruction through their escalated appreciation and knowledge from abroad.
Sixth, We should continue to study the improving method for converting the current qualification-training system into the credit system systematically and gradually and guarantee the qualified teachers the execution of the paid educational vacation in the system and the opportunity for the one or two year in-service training at the degree course as like Japanse's case.
