지식재산정보 검색서비스의 품질이 사용의도와 혜택에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

Today, intellectual property has a significant influence on the industry. Among intellectual property rights, patents account for a very high proportion and occupy a central position in intellectual property rights. As awareness of the importance of such intellectual property (rights) increases, business models and services related to various intellectual property rights are emerging. Among them, research on how the service quality of intellectual property information retrieval services belonging to the category of industrial property rights affects users' intention to use, user satisfaction, and benefits will help intellectual property information retrieval services develop in the future from the user's point of view. This study was conducted to derive academically and practically valuable results by sensing the need for research.

In Korea, it was confirmed through this study that the platform service quality of the IP information search service (DB) related to intellectual property services and the research of user's intention to use or satisfaction has not much been done. Therefore it is hoped that this study will be used as a reference in research on service quality related to IP information search service platforms and DB in Korea, and more research on related topics will be conducted. As a part of the intellectual property service industry, I hope that companies will enhance the quality of service platforms from the user's point of view and enhance the external competitiveness of IP information search DBs and solutions to create IP information search services if so Korean company's IP solution is going to widely used overseas beyond the domestic market.

This study established a research model based on SERVQUAL, SERVPERF, and Information System Success Model, which are academically verified service quality research models, and configuration requirements and dimensions suitable for IP information search service in tasks for tasks for the intellectual property were established as well. It was applied and analyzed with a scientific verification method. The contents of this study are summarized as follows. First, the overall trend of the intellectual property service industry was identified by reviewing the concept of intellectual property and the importance and paradigm of intangible assets and intellectual property rights. Second, we tried to put together the level and structure of the IP information service quality provided by the intellectual property information search service platform through preceding research and literature research that matched the purpose of the study. Third, based on the configuration dimension of the quality of IP information search service, we tried to find out the effect on usability, user satisfaction and intention to use, and its benefit. Fourth, based on the configuration dimension of the quality of IP information search service, we tried to find the mutual influence on the mediating effect between user satisfaction and intention of usage. Fifth, through the results of the above studies, implications for improving the quality of IP information retrieval platform services were derived from the user's point of view, and limitations and suggestions were presented.

The point of this study is to survey professional group users using IP information search service platforms provided by public institutions or private companies, which are used for intellectual property-related tasks in Korea, and research. By setting the research target widely, the results of the empirical analysis were confirmed on the user satisfaction and usage intention of the overall IP information search service platform used in Korea. In addition, the workforce in companies that perform intellectual property-related tasks or those engaged in the intellectual property service industry is a group with expertise, mainly dealing with industrial property rights that affect national competitiveness and public institutions that provide IP information search service platforms used by them. Hopefully, this study will be used as a reference for improving the quality of service in public and private companies. With such an influence, the service provider can further increase productivity through system upgrades that consider service users' intention to use and their satisfaction and to help IP creation activities that fit the trend of the digital transformation era. In addition, this study will be of some help in the leap of the intellectual property service system to where it can strengthen the integrated IP Portfolio management support and protection throughout the life cycle of intellectual property rights.|오늘날 지식재산(權)은 산업에 미치는 영향이 크고 지식재산권 중에서도 특허가 차지하는 비중은 매우 높으면서 지식재산권의 구심적 지위를 차지하고 있다. 이러한 지식재산(권)의 중요성에 대한 인식이 향상되면서 다양한 형태의 지식재산권과 관련된 Business Model과 서비스들이 생겨나고 있다. 그중에서도 산업재산권의 범주에 속하는 지식재산정보 검색서비스에 대한 서비스품질이 이용자의 사용의도와 이용자 만족 그리고 혜택에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대한 연구를 통해서 지식재산정보 검색서비스가 이용자의 관점에서 향후 발전되어야 할 연구의 필요성을 감지하여 학술적⋅실무적으로 가치 있는 결과물을 도출하기 위해서 본 연구를 진행하였다. 국내에서는 지식재산서비스와 관련된 IP정보 검색서비스(DB)의 플랫폼 서비스품질과 이용자의 사용의도나 만족도에 관한 연구가 소극적으로 진행되었음을 이번 연구를 통해서 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구가 국내에서 IP정보 검색서비스 플랫폼, DB 관련한 서비스품질과 관련된 범주의 연구에서 참조가 되고 관련 주제에 대한 보다 많은 연구가 이루어지길 바라며 국내 IP정보 검색서비스 플랫폼의 공급자 역할을 하는 공공기관과 민간기업들이 이용자의 관점에서 서비스 플랫폼의 품질을 높이고 IP정보검색 DB와 Solution의 대외 경쟁력을 높여서 국내시장을 벗어나 해외에서도 널리 사용되는 한국기업의 IP정보 검색서비스가 탄생 되기를 지식재산서비스업 관련 종사자의 일원으로서 진심으로 기원한다.

본 연구에서는 학문적으로 검증된 서비스품질 연구모형인 SERVQUAL, SERVPERF, 정보시스템 성공 모형(Information System Success Model)을 토대로 연구모형을 설정하고 지식재산을 위한 과업에서 IP정보 검색서비스에 적합한 구성요건과 차원을 적용하여 과학적 검증방법으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 내용을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지식재산(Intellectual Property)에 대한 개념정리와 무형자산 및 지식재산권의 중요성과 패러다임을 살펴봄으로써 지식재산서비스 산업의 전반적인 동향을 파악하였다. 둘째, 연구목적에 부합하는 선행연구와 문헌 조사를 통하여 지식재산정보 검색서비스 플랫폼이 제공하는 IP정보 서비스품질의 구성개념 및 차원에 대한 체계를 정리하고자 하였다. 셋째, IP정보 검색서비스의 품질의 구성차원을 기반으로 활용성, 이용자 만족과 사용의도 그리고 혜택(Benefit)에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 넷째, IP정보 검색서비스의 품질의 구성 차원을 기반으로 이용자 만족과 사용의도간 매개 효과에 대해서 미치는 상호영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 다섯째, 상기의 연구를 결과를 통해서 이용자의 관점에서 IP정보 검색 플랫폼 서비스의 품질제고에 대한 시사점을 도출하고 한계점과 제언을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 기여할 수 있는 점은 국내에서 지식재산관련 과업에 활용되고 있는, 공공기관 또는 민간기업이 제공하는 IP정보 검색서비스 플랫폼을 사용하고 있는 전문집단의 이용자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하여 연구대상의 객체를 넓게 설정하여 국내에서 사용되고 있는 전반적인 IP정보 검색서비스 플랫폼의 이용자 만족과 사용의도에 대해서 실증분석을 통한 결과를 확인한 점이다. 그리고 지식재산관련 업무를 수행하는 기업 내 인력이나 지식재산서비스업에서 종사하는 인력들은 전문성을 가진 집단이며 국가 경쟁력에도 영향이 있는 산업재산권을 주로 다루기 때문에 이들이 사용하는 IP정보 검색서비스 플랫폼을 제공하는 공공기관과 민간기업에서는 해당 서비스의 품질을 제고 하는데 본 연구가 참고자료로 사용되길 바란다. 그러한 영향으로 서비스 공급 주체가 서비스 이용자들의 사용의도와 이용자 만족을 고려한 System Upgrade를 통해서 생산성을 더욱 높여주고 디지털 대전환시대의 흐름에 맞는 IP창출 활동에 도움을 줄 수 있기를 바란다. 더불어 지식재산권의 생애주기(IP Life Cycle)에 걸친 통합된 IP Portfolio 관리지원과 보호 체계를 강화할 수 있는 지식재산 서비스시스템으로의 도약에 조금이라도 본 연구가 도움이 되기를 희망한다.
