中等敎員의 職務自律性 認識에 관한 硏究
- Abstract
- This study attempts to grasp the perceptional degree of the secondany school teacher on job autonomy, identify the impeding factors of teachers' job autonomy and then probe the scheme for their volutary participation in educational activity. Data obtained as a result of study were statistically treated using SPSS(Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences), and T-test and ANOVA(Analysis of Variance) were applied to them.
summary and conclusion are as follows;
Firstly, for the impeding factors to the perceptional degree of the secondary school teachers on job autonomy in the domain of their teaching-profession life, it was revealed that as a result of testing them there is mostly not a statistically significant difference among four background factors.
And it was shown that male teachers have a higher perceptional difference than female teachers in the domain related to the generality of their teaching-profession life by sex. It is thought that this is attributable to the fact that female teachers are different from male teacher in practical affairs or roles and there is a difference in a clear view of teaching profession and the belief of education between two groups.
Secondly, it was revealed that male teachers (M=3.7554) have a higer perceptional degree in the domain of educational activity than female teachers(M=3.677) in terms of gender in general.
This is thought as the problem that female teachers show a perceptional difference in the process of performing their jobs and is related to their views of teaching profession and beliefs.
And it is seen that this is attributed to the poverty of the reoganization of conditions for enabling teachers to perform their affairs voluntarily and the overburden of teaching hours per week. Therefore, it is necessary that teachers should strive for self-innovation constantly, study teaching aids centered toward the platform use, take active part in an opportunity of pursuing for their studies, and enhance tha sense of belongingness as the member of the organization.
Thirdly, as a result of testing the perceptional degree of secondary school teachers in the domain related to the general issue of school management, it is judged that there is a statistically significant difference because the obtained value is higher than 3.78, the F-value required at the level of (P=0.0). This is due to the fact that the group of young teachers shows a difference in their perceptions on aspects such as existing school system, culture and social structure. It is necessary that a measure should be taken to resolve those problems by finding out the alternatives to their resolution.
Fourthly, for the perceptional degree of secondary school teachers in the domain of the principal's leadership, it was shown that those teachers working in private secondary schools have a higher peceptional degree of job autonomy than teacher working in public secondary schools, and that there is a statistically significant difference.
It is judged that this is attributable to the fact that the prinicipal wants his teachers to follow his direction.
It can be said that for the item of job autonomy shown to be low according to career, as the impeding factor to job autonomy in this domain as a whole, it is an urgent task to concentrate every attention and effort on its resolution.
