중년여성 피부노화에 따른 스트레스가 피부관리 형태에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 중년여성을 대상으로 주관적 피부노화 인식과 피부노화 스트레스가 항노화 화장품, 피부관리, 미용성형 및 생활습관과 건강기능식품 4가지 영역에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 연구하였다. 이를 통해 중년여성을 대상으로 하는 피부관리 산업의 발전 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 서울 ‧ 경기 ‧ 인천에 거주하는 40세 이상 60세 이하 중년여성을 대상으로 2017년 9월 25일 ~ 10월 17일까지 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하여 520부 중 불성실한 답변 18부를 제외한 총 502부를 최종 분석하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 23.0 통계 패키지 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 상관관계분석, 신뢰도 검사, ANOVA, t-test 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다.

분석결과는 다음과 같다.

첫째, 주관적 피부노화 인식과 피부노화 스트레스 상관관계 분석 결과 피부노화 인식과 스트레스의 상관관계가 유의미하게 나타났다(p<.00). 둘째, 화장품, 피부관리, 미용성형 관심도와 피부노화 스트레스 인식의 차이를 분석한 결과 ‘매우 많다’, ‘많다’, ‘보통’, ‘없다’ 그리고 ‘전혀 없다’(M=3.6, 3.4, 3.1, 2.6, 1.6), 피부노화 및 생활습관 관심도가 스트레스 대한 인식의 차이를 분석한 결과 ‘매우 높음’, ‘높음’, ‘매우 낮음’, ‘보통’그리고 ‘낮음’(M=3.6, 3.4, 3.2, 3.3. 3.1) 순서로 나타났다(F=5.8, p<.05). 이는 피부노화에 대한 스트레스 지수가 높을수록 화장품, 피부관리 및 미용성형에 대한 관심도가 높음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 피부노화 스트레스에 따른 피부관리 형태 이용 여부를 분석한 결과 피부관리를 하는 중년여성일수록 피부노화 스트레스 지수가 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 피부관리 형태 유형 중 스트레스 지수에 가장 영향을 주는 것은 건강기능 식품, 미용성형, 피부관리 및 화장품 사용 순으로 나타났다(p<.00). 본 연구결과 중년여성은 자신의 피부노화 증상을 인식하고 노화 진행에 따른 스트레스를 받고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 피부노화 스트레스가 피부관리 형태에 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 중년여성 삶의 질 향상을 위해 거시적, 미시적 차원에서 피부노화예방에 관련된 다양한 프로그램의 개발과 더불어 이상적이고 건강한 피부상태를 유지하기 위한 올바른 피부관리 방법 정보 제공과 긍정적 심리상태를 유지할 수 있는 미용 상담이 이뤄져야 할 것으로 사료된다.| This study examined the effects of subject perception on skin aging and skin aging stress on the four domains such as anti-aging cosmetics, skin care, cosmetic surgery, and lifestyle and health food among middle-aged women. It was tried to suggest the development direction of skin care industry for middle aged women. The subjects were middle aged women between 40 and 60 living in Seoul, Kyeonggi and Incheon. A survey was conducted with a self-filling questionnaire from September 25 to October 17 in 2017. Five hundred and two 502 answers out of 520 excluding 18 insincere answers were used for the final analysis. For data analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, reliability test, ANOVA, t-test and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 23.0 statistical package program. The followings are the results. First, the correlations between subjective perception of skin aging and skin aging stress was significant (p<.00). Second, in the analysis of the effects of the interest in cosmetics, skin care and cosmetics surgery on the perception of the skin aging stress, it was found that they answered in the order of ‘Very much’, ‘Much’, ‘Moderate’, ‘No’ and ‘Not at all’(M=3.6, 3.4, 3.1, 2.6, 1.6). In the analysis of effects of the interest in skin ageing and lifestyle on skin ageing, it was found in the order of ‘Very high’, ‘High’, ‘Very low’, ‘Moderate’ and then ‘Low’(M=3.6, 3.4, 3.2, 3.3. 3.1) (F=5.8, p<.05). This indicates that the higher the stress index for skin aging is, the higher the interest in cosmetics, skin care, and cosmetic surgery is. Third, in the analysis of the use of skin care form according to skin aging stress, it was found that skin aging stress index was higher in middle age women who made more efforts to manage skin. Fourth, among the types of skin care styles, the most important factors affecting stress index were in the order of health functional food, cosmetic surgery, skin care and use of cosmetics (p<.00). Results of this study, it was confirmed that middle-aged women recognized their skin aging symptoms and were under stress due to aging process. It was also found that skin aging stress was affecting the form of skin care. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of life of middle-aged women, it is necessary to develop various programs related to prevention of skin ageing on the macroscopic and the microscopic level. In addition, beauty counseling should be provided to provide information on the proper skin care method for an ideal and healthy skin condition and to maintain a positive psychological state.
