전문대학 교육의 효과성이 숙련의 미래중요 정도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

Recently, the issue of youth employment has emerged seriously in the era of low-growth in Korea. Accordingly, vocational education should fully reflect proficiency importance in future. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the relationship between the effectiveness of education empathized by college students and proficiency importance in future. In order to carry out this study, related literature and previous studies, such as NCS and the results of the National Proficiency Forecasting Survey by Korea Institute of Vocational Competency Development, were reviewed. For the empirical analysis, a survey was conducted with 200 students from Yeoju University and the data were analyzed. Statistical analysis included frequency analysis to examine the demographic characteristics and the ranking of importance by basic occupational competency, descriptive statistical analysis to examine the recognition of proficiency importance and the effectiveness of education, factor analysis and reliability analysis to examine the validity and reliability of the constituents of the main variables, independent sample t test to verify the difference in recognition of proficiency importance according to demographic characteristics, and the effect of education on the recognition of proficiency importance, and regression analysis to verify the impact. The hypothesis test results of this study are as follows. First, the effectiveness of education had a significant positive effect on cognitive property of proficiency importance in major subjects. Second, the effectiveness of education had a significant positive effect on the mutual property of proficiency importance in major subjects. Third, the effectiveness of education had a significant positive effect on the cognitive property of proficiency importance in liberal arts. Fourth, the effectiveness of education had a significant positive effect on the mutual property of proficiency importance in liberal arts. As a result of the hypothesis test, college students recognized that the college curriculum is effective in improving their proficiency. The effectiveness of perceived education also influenced proficiency importance in future. It was suggested ways for college students to participate in class actively by recognizing the college curriculum that it is applied to the actual job fields.

Key words: college, proficiency, proficiency importance, NCS, vocational basic skills |최근 우리나라는 저성장 시대를 맞아 청년취업문제가 심각하게 대두되고 있으며, 이에 따라 직업교육은 미래의 숙련 중요 정도가 충분히 반영되어야 한다. 때문에 본 연구는 전문대학생이 공감하는 교육의 효과성과 미래 숙련의 중요도 간의 관계를 살펴보기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 본 연구를 수행하기 위해 국가직무표준(NCS)과 한국직업능력개발원의 국가숙련전망조사 결과 등 관련 문헌 및 선행연구를 고찰하였으며, 실증분석을 위해 여주대학교 재학생 200명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 통계 분석하였다. 사용된 통계분석 방법은 인구통계학적 특성 및 기초직업능력별 중요도 순위를 살펴보기 위한 빈도분석, 숙련중요도 인식과 교육의 효과성을 살펴보기 위한 기술통계분석, 주요변수들을 구성하는 측정항목들의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검토하기 위한 요인분석 및 신뢰도 분석, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 숙련중요도 인식 차이를 검증하기 위한 독립표본 t검정, 교육의 효과성이 숙련중요도 인식에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위한 회귀분석 등을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 가설검증 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육의 효과성이 높을수록 전공과목 숙련중요도 인지적 속성에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 교육의 효과성이 높을수록 전공과목 숙련중요도 상호적 속성에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 셋째, 교육의 효과성이 높을수록 교양과목 숙련중요도 인지적 속성에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 넷째, 교육의 효과성이 높을수록 교양과목 숙련중요도 상호적 속성에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미친다. 이상의 가설검증 결과를 바탕으로, 전문대학생들은 전문대학 교과과정이 숙련을 높이는데 효과적이고, 미래숙련 중요정도에도 영향을 미친다고 인식함을 확인하였다. 또한 전문대학 교과과정이 실제 직업현장에서 적용되는 교육이라는 점을 전문대학생들에게 확실하게 인식시켜 전문대학생들이 수업에 적극적으로 참여하기 위한 방법들을 제안하였다.
