자동차 부품 제조업에서의 중량물 취급 사고의 특성 및 위험성 분석

Abstract

본 연구는 자동차 부품제조업 종사자의 중량물 취급사고의 특성을 분석하고 이해함과 동시에 근골격계질환 예방뿐만 아니라 사고 예방관점에서의 주요 위험요인을 파악하여 사업장에서 위험요인을 집중적으로 관리할 수 있는 Risk Matrix를 개발하고 중량물 사고 예방을 위한 가이드라인을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 2015년 자동차부품 제조업에서 발생한 산업 재해자(1,530명)를 대상으로 중량물 사고 특성을 분석하고자 한다. 중량물과 비중량물 취급사고 특성 분석은 전체 산업 재해자 1,530명을 대상으로 중량물 취급유무에 따른 재해자의 특성과 재해특성을 분석한다. 중량물 취급유형 및 형태에 따른 사고 특성 분석은 전체 산업 재해자 1,530명 중 중량물 사고 재해자 271명 대상으로 중량물 취급유형 및 형태에 따른 재해자의 특성, 재해특성을 분석한다. 또한, 자동차 부품제조 공정별 세부 작업내용을 분류하고, 이를 기반으로 재해발생의 빈도와 강도 특성을 분석하여 중량물 취급작업에 대한 위험성 평가를 실시하고자 한다. 마지막으로 중량물 사고 특성 분석결과와 위험성 평가 결과를 토대로 자동차 부품제조업에서의 중량물 취급사고 예방 가이드라인을 제시하고자 한다. 연구결과, 중량물 취급유무에 따라 연령별, 근속기간별, 회사규모별, 사고 발생형태별, 사고 기인물별, 상해부위별, 상해종류별, 상해기관별, 사고 공정별로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고 중량물 취급유형 및 형태에 따라 회사규모별, 사고 공정별, 사고 발생형태별, 사고 기인물별, 상해부위별, 상해정도별로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 중량물 취급작업에 대한 위험성평가 결과 고 위험군에 해당되는 공정은 물류공정과 성형공정으로 나타났으며 사고가 많이 발생한 기인물은 설비/기계, 금형(지그), 제품/부품/재료로 나타났다. 또한 많이 발생되는 사고유형으로는 끼임/맞음/부딪힘 사고로 나타났다. 중량물 사고 특성 분석과 위험성 평가 결과를 종합하면 중량물 사고를 예방하기 위해서는 들기/내리기, 인력운반 중 발생되는 작업관련질병(요통 등 근골격계질환) 예방 대책이 필요하며 성형/가공/조립공정과 물류공정에서 발생되는 끼임/맞음/부딪힘 사고 예방 대책이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 요통 등 근골격계질환 예방을 위해 준비 단계, 들기 단계, 운반 단계에서의 요통 등 근골격계질환 예방 가이드라인을 제시하였을 뿐만 아니라 끼임/맞음/부딪힘 등 그 밖의 사고에 대한 예방 가이드라인도 함께 제시하였다. 본 연구는 자동차 부품제조업에서 중량물 사고예방 정책과 사업장 안전보건계획 수립 및 작업환경개선 활동에 활용될 수 있다. 위험성평가 결과인 Risk Matrix는 자동차 부품제조업 종사자들에게 공정별 중량물 사고의 위험성을 주지시키는데 활용될 수 있으며 사업장에서 중량물 취급사고 예방 가이드라인과 함께 효과적인 재해예방 대책을 수립하는데 활용될 수 있다.|This study aims to identify the major risk factors such as Musculoskeletal Disorders(MSDs) and Caught in objects by analyzing the characteristics of occupational injuries and manual material handling injuries in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. In addition, This study aims to develop the Risk Matrix for intensive management of risk factors and to present guidelines for the prevention of manual material handling injuries in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. This study classifies 1,530 injured persons caused in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. And this study analyzes the characteristics of occupational injuries. in addition, this study classifies 271 injured persons caused manual material handling works in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. And this study analyzes the characteristics of manual material handling injuries. To develop the Risk Matrix, this study analyzes the frequency and the severity of occupational injuries and manual material handling injuries. In addition, this study presents the guidelines for prevention of manual material handling injuries based on the results of this study. According to the results of this study, there was difference from the aspects by age, by period of employment, by size of employment, by type of accident, by original cause materials, by injured part, by type of injury, by injured organ, by process depending on whether the manual material handling injuries are or not. Also, there was difference from the aspects by size of employment, by process, by type of accident, by original cause materials, by injured part, by injured severity depending on the type of manual material handling and the shape of heavy object. According to the Risk Matrix Developed in this study, the high risk process in the manual material handling was the logistics process and the forming process. also, the major original cause materials were facilities/machinery, molds(jigs), products/parts/materials. The most frequent type of injury was the Caught in objects, Struck by objects/Struck against objects. This study presented the guidelines for prevention of manual material handling injuries and the guidelines for prevention of Caught in objects/struck by object/struck against object based on the results of this study. This study can be used for the preventative measures of manual material handling injuries. Also, This study can be used for the establishment of workplace safety and health plan, and the improvement of work environment. In addition, this study can be used to understand the workers about the risk factors in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. And this study can be used to establish more effective prevention policies.
