民間保育施設 利用滿足度에 관한 實證的 硏究

Abstract

In this study, parents who use private day-care centers located in Kangseo-gu, Seoul were surveyed to find out if day-care centers are helpful for early children's well-rounded growth and development and to prepare necessary information for quality development of day care business. For this purpose, parents' satisfactory level to the centers were generally figured out. It's also found out how the parents' demand on those centers would be different by parents' age, occupation, income, family style and double or single income. For the study, 15 private day-care centers located in Kangseo-gu, Seoul were randomly chosen and data collected from 130 parents of those centers were analyzed. As results of the study, it's found that day-care centers are necessary not only to double-income couples but also to single-income couples because they help children to raise their independence and sociality through group life. Examined average satisfactory level by each item of whole questionnaire, it's discovered that the satisfactory level to the space, facilities and pleasure tools of the centers were low yet that of life attitude and changes in educational side while their children go to the centers high. On the other hand, problems of day-care centers included insufficient pleasure facilities, educational text books and tools and expensive tuition. Expectations of the parents to the centers included various and high quality programs on education and safety inner and outer pleasure facilities. In order to apply those parents' demand on the centers and to make the centers be pleasant and spacial, countermeasures for balanced day-care environment rather than quantitative expansion should be developed and applied, and cooperation between the government and private facilities and financial subsidy by the government are needed at hand.
