Abstract
With the advent of Web 2.0 paradigm, the concept of existing web services is changed. To satisfy the changed concept of web services, various attempts using web computing technologies are made, and such attempts are called REST, Mashup, OpenAPI, or AJAX. Meanwhile, successful web service using spatial data like Google Map service highlights the importance of spatial data. Therefore, various functions or services mixed with Web 2.0-beased web computing technologies began to appear. In addition, separately this, the design of systems such as Geo-Portal and spatial data infrastructure and its implementation are executed as diverse attempts to collect and use spatial data, and the models of various spatial information systems are presented.
This study aims to reflect such a tendency, basic design and implement it regarding components to construct Geo-Browser linked with middleware that the hierarchical structure of client-middleware-database form. This study divides them into a client and spatial data process. As to the client, it abstracts the user object by using Google Maps Open API, and changes it to the standard data change formats like KML or GeoJSON. On the other hand, it executes WxS standard application of OGC about user data for data relay between users. This study uses open source for implementation of components. It is possible to customize according to the aim of the study by means of open source, and various attempts are possible by checking operation ways of functions and modifying source codes.
