무용 창작 기억 너머, 에 관한 연구

Abstract

급속하게 자본주의화가 진행된 한국사회에서 통상적으로 우리는 권력의 우위에 있는 사람을 갑, 그렇지 않은 사람을 을이라고 지칭한다. 급변하는 환경에 따라 이러한 변질된 자본주의 문화가 한국에 뿌리내리게 되면서 갑과 을을 구분하는 문화, 즉 갑을관계에 따른 우위가 사회 전반적으로 퍼진 것이다. 갑을관계는 갑질이라는 비정상적인 행태를 만들어냈으며 누구든 본인의 의사와는 관계없이 을의 역할을 경험하게 된다. 을의 역할이란 필연적으로 열위에 놓인 폭력의 대상이며, 이는 신체적인 것과 정신적인 것을 포함한다. 하나의 문화처럼 인식되어진 갑을관계, 그것에서 오는 트라우마는 일상적인 관계에서조차 피할 수 없게 된 사회문화적 현상으로서 이제는 그 심각성에 경종을 울려야 할 때이다. 누구나 을이 되기도 하는 사회, 우리는 그런 시대에 살아가고 있다. 본 논문은 갑질 현상에서 보여지는 피해자들의 트라우마를 심리적으로 접근하여 만든 연구자의 석사학위 창작 작품 기억 너머, 에 관한 연구와 분석이다. 총 네 개 장면의 흐름으로 구성 되어진 이 작품은 음악적 효과를 통해 사건의 배경을 제시한다. 트라우마에서 오는 불편함, 공포심 등 부정적인 감정에 대한 반복적 표현과 벗어나고자 하는 의지를 움직임으로 구사하고 소품으로 의자와 옷을 사용하여 창조 행위에 다양성을 부여했다. 작품의 주제를 효과적으로 전달하고자 두개의 옷을 연결해 하나의 옷으로 보여지게 만들어 트라우마의 연결고리를 찾았고 두 무용수를 역할을 분리하여 그 이미지를 부각시켰다. 이에 본 연구는 작품의 구성요소, 창작과정 및 방법, 공연까지의 과정을 분석하고 이것을 본 논문으로 정리하였다. 본 연구자의 작품 기억 너머, 를 통해 트라우마의 심각성을 깨닫고 경각심을 고취하고자 한다.

|In Korean society, where capitalism has rapidly developed, gap refers to people who are in superior status, and eul refers to those who are not. Following the rapid change, the culture of the transmuted capitalism has taken root in Korea, and the culture of distinguishing gap and eul, social hierarchy dominated by gap and eul relationship, has spread out the society. The relationship between gap and eul has created an outrageous behavior so-called gapjil and anyone is subject to this relationship regardless of his or her own will. Eul who is typically considered inferior, and inevitably becomes the object of violence, be it physical or mental. As a result of the intolerant culture of gapjilj, trauma is increasingly becoming an everyday experience, a socio- cultural phenomenon that needs an urgent attention from the public. In this society that we are living in, we all can be eul at some point.

The "Memories Beyond," the master's degree request work, is a psychological interpretation of the trauma of gapjil victims. This work, consisting of a total of four scene scenes, presented the background of the event through musical effects, and expressed the willingness to escape from repetitive expressions of negative emotions such as discomfort and fright from trauma. A chair and clothes were used as objects to enhance variety to creative acts. To effectively convey the theme of the work, we found the linkage of the trauma by connecting two clothes together which appear as one piece of cloth. The two dancers separated their roles to highlight the image. As such, this study analyzes the process of composition, choreography, creative process, and performance, and summarizes this process Beyond the work memories of our researchers, we want to realize the seriousness of trauma and to raise awareness.
