무용 작품 「Home Sweet Home」에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 청년층의 미래를 위협하는 사회적 문제인 전세사기 피해를 주제로, 청년층의 좌절을 표현한 작품 「Home Sweet Home」에 대한 분석 및 연구이다. 본 연구는 전세사기가 피해자들에게 미치는 영향을 탐구하며, 이를 무용 작품으로 재해석한 과정을 다룬다. 전세사기는 전세보증금을 노리고 이루어지는 사기 행위로, 특히 청년층에게 심각한 경제적 · 정신적 고통을 초래한다. 최근 이러한 사례가 증가하며 전세 사기는 개인의 문제가 아닌 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있다. 전세사기는 피해자의 재산을 위협할 뿐만 아니라, 심리적 불안과 좌절을 유발해 피해자들의 삶에 장기적인 영향을 미친다. 본 연구자는 전세사기라는 사회적 문제에 대해 다각도로 분석하고, 피해자들이 겪는 법적, 경제적, 심리적 영향을 고찰하였다. 전세사기의 유형 및 사례, 법적 제도의 허점, 피해자 현황 등을 조사하였으며, 작품을 통해 피해자들의 고통을 표현하여 전세사기 문제의 해결과 예방을 위한 제도의 필요성을 제시하고자 한다. 본 작품은 전세사기를 바탕으로 청년층이 겪는 불안과 좌절, 그리고 이를 극복하려는 의지를 무용수들의 움직임과 상징적 연출을 통해 시각화하고 있다. 작품은 크게 5장으로 구성되어 있으며, 각 장은 전세사기 이전과 발생, 피해자와 가해자 간의 대립, 극복을 위한 시도를 시간적 흐름에 따라 표현한다. 종이상자를 활용해 집을 상징적으로 표현하며, 상자가 찢어지는 장면을 통해 전세사기의 충격적인 발생과 이에 대한 피해자들의 상실감을 극적으로 표현하였다. 또한, 의상의 색상 차이를 통해 인물의 역할과 감정선을 명확히 드러내고, 피해자들의 심리적 변화와 감정을 섬세하게 표현하고자 하였다. 본 연구 및 창작 과정을 통해 피해자들의 상황과 감정에 대한 공감을 이끌어내며, 전세사기 문제에 대한 사회적 관심을 높인다. 아울러 전세사기 피해의 심각성과 예방의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다. | This is a study on the dance work “Home Sweet Home”, which expresses the frustration of young people facing the social issue of lease fraud (jeonse scam). The research explores the impact of lease fraud on victims and reinterprets it through a dance performance. Lease fraud is a scam targeting the deposit money for rental housing, causing severe financial and psychological distress, particularly to young people. Recently, as these cases have increased, lease fraud has become a social issue, not just a personal problem. It threatens the victims’ property and induces psychological anxiety and frustration, leading to long-term effects on their lives. The researcher analyzes lease fraud from multiple perspectives, examining its legal, economic, and psychological impact on the victims. The study investigates types of fraud, specific cases, legal loopholes, and the current state of victims, using the performance to express the victims’ pain and to propose the need for systemic reforms to resolve and prevent lease fraud. The dance work visualizes the anxiety, frustration, and desire to overcome these challenges faced by young people through the dancers’ movements and symbolic stage elements. The piece is divided into five sections, each representing different stages: the time before the fraud, the occurrence of the fraud, the conflict between victims and perpetrators, and attempts to overcome the situation. The use of paper boxes, symbolizing homes, and the scene where a box is torn apart visually represent the shocking occurrence of lease fraud. This scene also captures the victims’ sense of loss. Additionally, variations in costume color clearly distinguish the roles and emotional trajectories of the characters, delicately portraying the psychological changes and emotions of the victims. Through this research and creative process, the aim is to evoke empathy for the victims’ situations and emotions, raise social awareness about lease fraud, and emphasize the importance of addressing and preventing such issues.
