몽골인을 위한 한국어 동물 속담 교육 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 외국어로서의 한국어를 배우고자 하는 몽골인 학습자들에게 한-몽 교육용 속담을 통해서 효과적인 한국어 교육을 시키는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구의 대상은 한국어 교육용 속담 중에서 적지 않은 비중을 자치하고 있는 동물 속담으로 한-몽 대조 연구를 하였다. 한-몽 속담 대조를 통하여 몽골인 한국어 학습자들에게 외국어로서의 한국어 교육을 진행할 때, 학습자들이 한국어를 보다 더 잘 이해하고 더 넓고 더 많은 지식을 얻어서 의사소통과정에서 효과적이고 실질적으로 사용하게 될 것이라고 생각한다. 제1장에서 선행연구를 통해 한-몽 학습자를 위한 동물 속담 교육 연구는 아직 없기 때문에 이러한 연구가 필요하다는 것을 밝혔다. 제2장에서는 한국어 교재 10종 및 한국어 속담 책 3종, TOPIK(1회-27회)에 수록된 교육용 속담을 살펴보고 이 모든 자료에 수록된 속담을 한국어 교육용 속담으로 정리하였다. 교육용 속담 중 속담 속에 동물이 등장 하는 속담을 한국어 교육용 동물 소재 속담으로 뽑았다. 제3장에서는 한국어 교육용 동물 속담을 다음 3가지로 분류하고 분석하였다. 첫째, 한-몽 동일 의미의 속담이 모두 동물 소재로 하는 속담 둘째, 한-몽 동일 의미의 속담인데 몽골 속담에서는 동물이 아닌 다른 소재로 하는 속담 셋째, 몽골어에는 유사한 속담이 없는 독자적인 한국어 속담이다. 다음으로 한국 속담에 나타난 대표적인 동물을 통해서 동물의 상징 의미를 알아보았다. 그 결과로 속담 속에 내포되어있는 두 나라의 문화적 공통점과 차이점을 알아 볼 수 있었다. 제4장에서는 몽골인 학습자를 위한 속담 교육 방법을 한-몽 동일 의미의 속담이 모두 동물 소재로 하는 속담과, 한-몽 동일 의미의 속담인데 몽골 속담에는 동물이 아닌 다른 소재로 하는 속담의 교육을 중급(4급) 단계로 살펴보았다. 속담 교육을 할 때 속담 속에 나타난 동물의 상징 의미, 그 속담을 실제로 어떤 상황에서 쓸 수 있는지를 파악하는 것이 매우 중요하다고 생각했기 때문에 속담의 상징 의미를 가지고 교육 방안을 제시하였다.

|The purpose of this study is to provide efficient Korean education using Korean and Mongolian proverbs. I compared Korean and Mongolian proverbs which have animals. These kinds of proverbs are prevalent in Korean culture. Students could communicate efficiently and with substance if we provide them Korean education which includes comparing Korean and Mongolian proverbs. In the 1st chapter, I discuss the rarity of studying about proverbs related to animals and why this kind of thesis is needed. In the 2nd chapter, I look into 10 Korean books, 3 Korean proverbs books, and the proverbs in Topik test sheets(1 – 27). I organized the proverbs in above books. Also, I chose the animals in the proverbs as my subject matter. In the 3rd chapter, I classify the proverbs into 3 groups based on the animals involved. In the first group, the meanings of proverbs are same in both languages. In the second, the meanings of the proverbs are different. The third group of proverbs includes uniquely Korean proverbs which don’t exist in Mongolian. Next, I explore the symbolic meaning of the main animals in Korean proverbs. Consequently, I present the cultural similarities and differences. In the 4th chapter, I apply the method of teaching Korean proverbs in intermediate level which is in level 4. The 2 ways of teaching Korean proverbs using proverbs whose meanings are the same, and using proverbs with different meanings. I focus on the symbolic meaning of the animals in the proverbs, and how it can be used in dialogue, since the symbolic meaning and the how-to are both important.
