牧會者의 職務滿足度에 關한 硏究
- Abstract
- As we have seen in the previous verification and analysis, the present job satisfaction of ministers who work in Inchon City and Kyonggi Province was comparatively high as a whole. Especially, among 18 primary factors of job satisfaction, the coefficient about ministry life itself was the most high(3.70). This reflects that ministers feel satisfaction when they consider their job as heaven-sent mission according to God's calling and when they minister with the thought of mission and calling.
But among 18 primary factors, there were preventing factors whose coefficient were lower than half degree(2.50). Those were the low attendance rate of believer, the absence of vice-ministers, and the insufficency of old age's welfare preparance.
Comparing personally, in the case of man minister according to sex, 6-10 years' carriered minister according to carrier, charge minister according to possition, the ministers of the big church which have more than 200 attendant believers, and the ministers who have three dependent family members, the job satisfaction was high.
In the basis of the effects of this verification and analysis, I would like to suggest the guide as follows ;
① The first case of the preventing factors was the low attendance rate of believers. It seems that the attendance rate of sunday evening service, Wednesday service, friday night service, and friday district meeting, except for sunday morning service, is low. Church supported revival service, biblical class, or layman's seminar are good solutions to that problem. Especially, each church has summer training course, and this course frequently accompanies family members.
So through this opportunity, we can teach the importance of early morning prayer, family worship. And through this collective life, we need to prepare the moment of the unity of the whole church members, so each member can have the feeling of belonging to church, can have intimate sharing each other, and can have conversations with ministers.
② The second case of preventing factors is the absence of vice-minister. Usually this problem is applied to the ministers of small churches with less than 50 believers. The solutions to this problem are as follows : first, we can ask neighbor minister for church service beforehand. Second, the General Assembly can dispatch ministers who is to take charge of the service leading and other works. And finally, in the views of long term, each church can train young believers who have the calling and sincere faith.
③ The third case of preventing factors is the rewards problem. Actually the ministers of small churches with less than 50 attendant believers have sevial troubles. To solve this problem, the General Assembly can consider the plan of supporting dependent churches. And comparatively big churches could pay some amounts of preparing money to support the mission and troubled churches.
This project is the subject which all the ministers of our country must study.
