매장연출 P.O.P광고의 시각적상품화전략(V.M.D)적용 사례연구

Abstract

현대의 소비재 시장상황은 정보화 시대로 접어들면서 과거보다 훨씬 더 복잡하고 다양하게 변화되었다. 기존시장의 개념이 붕괴되고, 소비자의 소비 행태와 경제활동의 스타일도 더 세분화되었으며, 공급자와 소비자를 연결하는 유통구조도 커다란 변화를 맞고 있다. 광고활동도 이러한 시장상황에 따라 많은 변화를 보이고 있다. 오늘날의 제품은 기능 및 기술경쟁의 시대에서 차츰 광고 및 디자인 경쟁의 시대로 접어들고 있다. 이는 곧 소비자위주의 광고방향설정과 소비자요구의 결합이 광고효과의 극대화를 가져오게 되는 것이다. 특히 소비자가 실제 제품을 접하게 되는 일선 판매점에서의 광고활동의 중요성이 크게 부각되고 있어서 매장자체를 하나의 광고매체로 바라보는 시각이 늘고있으며, 마케팅전략 수립에도 상당한 영향을 미치는 요소로 적용되고 있다. 이런 현상은 매장을 더욱 세분화되고 통합적인 이미지를 이끌어 내어 집객력 강화와 매장 활성화에 적극적인 마케팅을 펼치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 매장연출 POP광고가 국내에서 파생된 배경과 POP광고의 역사, 특성 등을 토대로 어떻게 현재까지 발전하게 되었으며, 우리나라에만 독특하게 발달된 배경과 현재 기업들이 어떻게 소비자들을 매장으로 끌어들이기 위한 노력들을 하는지 알아보았다. 또한 매장연출 POP의 중대한 전환점이 된 VMD의 도입은 매장을 더욱 세분화시키고 효율적으로 운영하는 새로운 기준이 되었다. 이는 현재 모든 가전제품 매장과 양판점, 통신서비스 대리점 등에 다양하게 적용되고 있으며, 소비자에게 즐거움과 신선함을 주어 제품 구매시 더 많은 정보와 감동을 주게 되었다.|As the world entered into the information age, market situations for consumer goods around the world have gone through drastic changes more than ever. The existing market concept has collapsed, the pattern of economic activities and consumption of modem consumers has segmented, and the distribution channel connecting suppliers and consumers has changed in many ways. In this ever-changing market situation, the field of advertising is witnessing various changes as well. In the past, winning the competition for production technology was the key to success in the market, but today the era of advertising and design has set in. In this regard, combining consumer-oriented advertising with consumer needs can maximize the effect of advertising. Particularly, the importance of advertising activities in retail markets where consumers directly experience products is growing. For that reason, the notion that sees a store itself as a sort of medium of advertising is being widely accepted and actually influencing marketing strategies in many advertising companies. This trend leads to more segmentation of stores and integration of store image, enabling retailers to engage in more aggressive marketing by attracting more customers to their stores. This thesis refers to the background of how POP (Point of Purchase) advertising as store display was introduced in Korea, how POP has developed based on the history and characteristics of POP advertising and how it has been developed in Korea and is being used by Korean firms to attract customers. Also, the introduction of VMD (Visual Merchandising) which became an important turning point of POP advertising has set a new standard for the store segmentation and effective store management. At present, VMD is being applied in various places such as home appliance stores, big discount stores, and communication service stores, providing customers with more useful information and pleasure for shopping.
